La Carreta Hotdogs "Food Truck" — Restaurant in Albuquerque

If I could give no stars, I would. First and last time going. I ordered two burgers and two sides of fries and waited for an hour! At first we were hesitate to check up on it because they were busy, but once you see cars getting there after you and they leave with orders, you start wondering, "where is my order?" I decided to check up on my order and they had lost the order! The girl who was helping me was being treated terrible from her sister, who later claimed to be the manager. "The manager" showed no interest in trying to redo our order because she claimed it was already made.. but I didn't get it, I still had the buzzer.

After going back and forth with said "manager" I decided to just get my money back. Said "manager" became very upset.

I wouldn't had asked for the money back and was willing to wait if they would just admit they were at wrong and made every effort to make things right, but they didn't. Between the employers, they do not treat each other right, there is no good communication and they do not prioritize customers. The manager's excuse to talk to her co-workers liked that is, "we are all sisters" and I replied it was still not okay to talk to them like that and she said, "well, it's my business".

No professionalism at all. They do not know how to treat their customers. I am all about supporting local, but definitely not going to support this business. I remember going when it was a small stand on central, definitely not the same food or service.

Probably one of the worst experiences you’ll ever have if you go here if not the worst. They don’t even deserve one star. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE. The girls that were “working” were probably the worst combo of employees to ever have working the same shift. A disaster is how I would describe their attempts in trying to fix the issue I addressed to them with my food.

I found a big roach in my food and all they could say was how eating bugs is normal and how one of them eats crickets instead of giving me my money back!?!! I cannot make this up... They literally refused to refund me for their roach infested food and refused to get their manager. It’s very apparent that they have never received the proper training and customer service skills that are needed to work in the food industry. Something that is urgently required for them.

Please find somewhere else to eat food at because they cannot guarantee basic food sanitation and safety standards.

I don’t know how they are still open with the absence of basic customer service and their ignorance when it comes to food handling and safety.

If I wanted roaches in my food I would’ve just gone to my local trash can instead of making a trip there TWICE and wasting my time with unprofessional employees who have no knowledge of food safety and customer service. The BEST burgers probably in all of Albuquerque!! This is the ONLY PLACE that I crave consistently like once a week!! -- EDITED ON TO ADD; I worked across the street at the gas station RIGHHHHHT next to them for a lil over a year.. NEVER ONCE, (&& I speak Spanish, fluently && that gas station sells the drinks && chips to most customers, most nights) I MEAN NEVER ONCE!! did I hear anything about cucarachas.. except u do know it's in the taco truck style right? You eat outside.. on the street, in dirty Albuquerque.. like MOST taco trucks.. only this one isn't DIRECTLY ON CENTRAL. Where do you live in this city that doesn't have SOME KIND of bugs? I DID hear about the girls that work there getting harassed or ppl trying to Rob them,...
