This is our go-to location, but after this evening experience, we might have to reconsider despite living in one of the bordering neighborhoods. Our order was 3 slices of pizza and a half salad. In the past, our food would be ready in a timely manner. 25 minutes after ordering, we were still waiting. I go up to the counter and ask what the status of our food was told that the salad line was really backed up only to find our salad had been sitting on the counter. 5 minutes later our slices come out. The cheese on my daughter pizza had the look of being reheated more than once. She was starving couldn't wait and didn't mind so I didn't press the issue. My slice of hawaiian on the other hand was worse. It was as if they took a slice of cold cheese pizza, threw a bunch of cold ham and pineapple and called it done. I go up to the counter and ask if that was common practice. The employee just asked if I wanted it reheated. I asked to speak to whoever in charge. Same response. Asked if I wanted it reheated. No apology, no sense of responsibility, just the look of someone who didn't care that their customer was not satisfied with the product that was being put out. I didn't wait 30 minutes for a ice cold slice just to be reheated. I lost my appetite and just asked for a refund. Still no apology. Even though this location is just minutes away when we decide to dine at dions again, we will most likely be going to a...
Read moreWe were in Ventana Ranch and thought we’d get some food to go on the way home. Got home, they forgot to put a Greek dressing in with 2 of our 3 subs ordered, and no pickle spear in 2 subs. Chips were all broken and bottom of the bag in the one sub that ordered chips. Pizza was underdone on one side. Called in to let them know about the 2 missing Greek dressings, they said to come back in and get them. Huge inconvenience as we were home in Cibola area. Their subs are not a sub without their Greek dressing. You shouldn’t have to open up your to go boxes on to go orders to make sure they put a dressing in it. I asked for two brownies for the trouble, the employee was hesitant, but obliged but seemed irritated that I had asked. I wanted something to make it right for the trouble. Pizza got cold and we didn't eat our sandwiches until we got the Greek dressing. Will just stick with the Cabezon location, to go order’s should be double checked, have never had this happen at any of the other locations in my 19 years in this state. It seems this location is inconsistent, in reading other reviews. Got home and ate a good hour later, their subs and pizza are always worth it,...
Read moreUpdate I came into town and had to get some Dion's. But I wanted to update my review because we got the best service possible while we stopped in to pick up our food. Diego was not only friendly and outgoing. We walked in 5 minutes before closing and he was ready to take our order with a smile. We had called something in earlier so we wouldn't keep them late. They close at 10pm but the fact that he didn't make us feel like it would be a huge inconvenience trying to place a food order 5 minutes before they close. I feel bad for food workers because people will go in right before closing and it's just not nice because it keeps the workers so much later to clean up every they have already cleaned. I just want to say thank you Diego for being a good human. Thank you Dion's for hiring and training good people.
Dion's is always a must when you go to Albuquerque. Some of the best pizza you will ever eat if you like pizza with ranch. They have some secret recipe or something that makes it amazing. If you are in Albuquerque you better get Dion's. The meatball sub is fantastic and the pizza is just in another level it's not crispy like Dave portnoy likes but it's...
