El Forasteros Mexican Food — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I read the reviews and that’s why we decided to eat here. The young man at the counter was nice and patient while I ordered. The food though…. Extremely disappointed. The shredded beef was very dry, the veggies were not seared long enough, so no flavor and hard for them to be in a burrito. The meat was sweet .. why? And the chili sauce on the enchilada tasted like it came out of a can and was luke warm. I had someone with me who I want to taste authentic mexican food for the first time, needless to say it will be twice as hard for them to try it again....

The food here is SO GOOD! It tastes like Mexican food I used to get in Chicago - savory, flavorful, and hard not to scarf down immediately. If you like delicious Mexican food found all throughout Chicago - you're going to love this place. I get the enchilada combo plate and could eat it everyday!

I picked up for someone else, not for me. I wouldn't eat here if they paid me or food was free. I just don't like these kitchens who sale mush food that is definitely not good for you or your digestive system. Different strokes for different folks. Don't take my word for it and see and taste for yourself. See if it all has flavor or if it all...
