El Kochi Loko carnitas y chicharrones #2 — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I went to the one on menaul so no shade to the other locations but at the menaul location we walked in and walked right back out🤢There was foil on the windows which was a red flag as we walked in. Once inside, the place was super dirty and had many flys around. Where the food was being made was equally as bad the lids and pans looked liked they hadn’t been washed just basically rinsed and refilled or if they had been washed they were very old and cracked and stained. The girls behind the counter had their hair all over the place while slouching the pork fat around it just seemed very unappealing. I do think the location that is on Louisiana will be much better i hope because the pictures online look so yummy and when looking at it again the outside was not the same building that we went to so we will try the other location but don’t go to the menaul location unless you want to call out of work from...

Always really good food, just wish they were located somewhere else and that they had some menus in english. I know what most of the stuff here is and usually get Carnitas and ribs but with everything in Spanish I don't know what some of the items are. Can be difficult getting somebody that speaks English to help sometimes but they are pretty friendly. The location is bad because of all of the homeless folks living nearby, and there's always something going on outside. Somebody had smashed one of the front doors in and the whole place has been locked up on the outside so they can't get in. Literally their neighbor has built fences with pallets to try to keep people out in the nearby abandoned CVS had a major fire while...

First let me say, its a lot of food! I had the taco plate and the tacos were overflowing with meat. I had one barbacoa taco and a carnitas taco. Both were delicious. The plate came with refried beans and rice. I think both of these were good but could have been better. Overall, my taco plate was enjoyable, however lacking that goodness that would make you want to ear there every day. Having said that, I will be back to try the other tacos. On side note, staff were fantastic and the restaurant very clean which added to our visit. I do recommend it and hope to return soon as their taco...
