I am revising my five star review to two stars, and that may still be too generous. Here is my reasoning: the employees are consistently and almost always guaranteed to be extremely rude, to everyone. I understand some customers can be difficult, but when you’re rude and condescending to every single customer, I am pretty sure it’s not the customers that are a problem. I hadn’t returned to Limonata for about a year, because the last time I was there they treated my mom like garbage after she was asking some questions about the menu. Today we decided to give it another try, brought our dogs to sit on the patio, and at 11:30am (cafe open until 3) all of the patio furniture is being put away. We asked the guy dangling all of the chairs if it would be okay if he left a table and two chairs out so we could use them, his response: “are you blind? It’s being put up.” 3.5 hours left before the cafe closes, on a day that is overcast, but no rain and a minimal breeze - there was no reason everything had to be put away. What’s more, there were many different possible responses that weren’t completely asinine, he just wanted to be a jerk. This place has survived despite its terrible service, and it’s sad because the food is good, and I know the owner is very nice. They’ve lost my family as customers forever, but hopefully they will get their act together and survive with both good food and service, instead of beating the odds with the level of service...
Read moreFirst time trying Limonata and will have to say 100 times yes! Starts when you first walk in there waa a gentleman who is making crepes. We asked him the process and he kindly told us the ins and outs. You get a menu, go to the counter and order, then find anywhere you would like to sit. We got to the register and observing the cashier 4 orders back, he is amazing! He knows his regulars. He is very in tune with every single one that he talked to. We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and the grilled chicken panini with chips and a side salad, lavender lemonade, and a mocha coffee. Green chile chicken lasagna and Apricot strudel to go. Our sandwiches were so good and flavorful. The lavender lemonade was nice and refreshing and the coffee a perfect balance! It is such a very cozy place to be and they make you feel right at home! We will definitely be coming back to eat their delicious food and great service from Phil the cashier. Can't wait to try the lasagna and...
