Little Anita's New Mexican Food — Restaurant in Albuquerque

My review keeps disappearing on me ??? I will try again. I have been going to your location 3 to 4 times a month for the last four years except during covid. I am always treated with courtesy and food is always to my liking. Week before last that all changed when a male server whom i saw for the first time the werk before greeted me with "well" I told him I was waiting to be seated, as the sign says. He waved his arm and told me to sit wherever. Two tables were filled, the others were dirty except for one table where I don't like to sit as servers are in and out getting, food, drinks, etc. It was 12:45 and at 1:05 i still had not been given a menu or asked what I wanted to drink. To make a long story short I had to ask the female server for help and mentioned to her the male server was very rude today. And I felt like reporting him. She told him and he came out like a bat out of hell. He said i could do what I had to do. He never gave me a chance to speak but to make a very long story short he bent over the table and told me " you get what you give and YOU are the rude one" he walked away came back and told me his names??? And that i could report him. There is more to this but i keep getting cut off. I am a senior citizen and I feel comfortable going to your restaurant alone, but I guess I won't be going back as I can't take rudeness by anyone. His action was uncalled for. The week before he brought me a menu and never came back to my table. I had to ask the other server for help and she finally took over my table. Last week I finally got my food at 1:25. This location has been slowly getting worse and worse. I live in the neighborhood and have for 15 years. I called in a order today and was told 10-15 minutes for it to be ready. Upon arriving I was first ignored then when they finally had me pay they said it will be right out. Then I see half my order come out and sit on the counter. After 10 minutes of my Burget sitting on the counter the manager tells the cook to prepare the second half of my order 2 shredded beef tacos. Another 6 minutes goes by and now my 10 minutes wait has turned into 30 minutes. I ask the helper girl why it took so long and she blames a new girl which made no sense since this new girl had only taken my order not left my food sitting on the counter. She then called the manager and her response was I’m sorry and I will train the new girl how to quote wait times better. So in other words it doesn’t matter that your burger sat there. If I had not been there I would have not known so it could have sat for 20 minutes if they “quoted me the correct time” I have tried to attach a pic of my nasty half patty burger that they charged me $10.00 for. Food was really good however the service was horrible awful. I had to get up and get my own coffee get my own straw every time I asked the person serving she told me she’d get right on it and then never did..... I asked for chips and salsa and never got them until my food came. When I couldn’t find the creamer she brought it to me but dropped one and then started cursing!? It was absolutely insane like hilarious it was such bad service we couldn’t even believe it.... then when we were brought our check the lady asked “how was everything!?” My friend said “food was great but service was awful” and the lady responded with “well I’m not a server” and walked away!!!!! I was mind blown.... I get it maybe she was overwhelmed but then why isn’t the company hiring more people? Maybe I went on a bad day? I’m not sure but I live right around the corner and always order and pick up never eat in and now I know why.... I sat at the front and people were walking out complaing and every person who called in an order came back with something wrong..... it was just a absolutely hot mess in that place!!!!
