I wanted to treat my friend to lunch before she had to get to work. I didn't expect fast food but I expected to EAT within the hour and 15 minutes. A nice elderly lady showed up behind us and a family in the corner about 20 min after we ordered. They got their food BEFORE us and were leaving about the time my friend had to leave to make it to work on time. She waited til the last minute for food before her boss called her. The only food we got was the appetizer and a half salad with coffee and tea in that hour and 15. I canceled my order and paid for the app and drinks. How long does it take to get a Caprese Salad and Chicken Alfredo? I had to apologize to my friend because she didn't eat aside from the appetizer. Got a disingenuous "sorry. I don't know what happened." from the waitress. There were more workers there than tables taken by patrons. I pointed out the lady and the other party who were behind me ready to pay AFTER they finished their lunch in less the time we WAITED for ours. The waitress and cashier just STOOD there silently while taking my money for Ice Tea/Coffee/Appetizer. It's a shame the appetizer was delicious.
I'm a restaurant manager of a tourist heavy place and I know there are ways to keep the food flowing and timely even on busy days. You guys weren't busy.. I know cuz I a made it a point to bring that up.
It looked a nice place. Perhaps we were not the clientele they want. DO...
Read more⭐ 0 Stars — Extremely Disappointed with the Pizza and Rude Customer Service
I had a terrible experience at Mario’s Pizzeria & Ristorante that I feel obligated to share. I picked up their giant pizza around 7:30 PM and paid $48 — only to find out it was extremely salty, greasy, and barely edible. By the time I tasted it, they were already closed for the night.
The next day, I called to explain the issue, expecting at least a decent apology or resolution. Instead, I was met with rudeness and disrespect from the manager Rodrigues. He told me I had to drive back 30 minutes with the leftover pizza just to get $10 off my next order — as if that somehow makes up for the bad food and wasted money.
I even offered to send a picture of the pizza, but he refused, claiming his phone “doesn’t work” — which clearly felt like an excuse to avoid dealing with the situation. It’s very disappointing and shows how little they value customer satisfaction.
I’ve been a loyal customer at other Mario’s branches and never had an issue, but this location was a complete letdown. Between the poor quality pizza and unprofessional customer service, this has been one of my worst dining experiences. Management should seriously re-evaluate how they treat paying customers.
I’d appreciate if someone from higher up contacts me directly, because this situation was handled in the worst...
Read moreI come to this location often. Once a week. During all this pandemic stuff feel it's important to support local business. Don't think I'll be going back.
Got takeout and when I got home I was missing something and thought they gave me the wrong thing for another plate. I called and asked them to fix it and they said they'd need 20 minutes because they were busy. So I drove back only to be told that they couldn't give me the correct plate unless I brought the other back. Considering covid I thought this was absurd for them to want me to bring back food I had taken away and touched. Turns out I was wrong and the dish was correct. However, they had still forgotten my other item. The manager, she was dismissive and made me show photos to prove what I had. Why I would lie and let my food get cold for half an hour while driving back to pick up what they forgot I don't know.
The cook came out and offered to make things right. But I was mad. I just wanted my stuff and to leave. In a service business to treat a loyal and frequently returning customer like she did with me, it's just inexcusable. Especially when there are hundreds of other restaurants who would be happy to have the business to stay afloat.
Shame because the...
