OH MY GOD!!!! I WISH I HAD THIS PLACE SOONER!!! Alright now that I have your attention really do wish I had. The pure unadulterated kindness, compassion and understanding i recieved after entering this establishment only to use the restroom as I have some issues I can no longer control but enough of that. Upon entering they as in every employee present in unison pointed in the direction of the restroom. Upon exiting the restaurant I decided I wanted to offer them a positive review and one that is still honest so I asked my amazing wife to dinner and came back in the service was absolutely excellent and was only matched by the quality of the food I chose the green chili smashburger and as any one knows I am the ultimate in and out fan I didn't think anything could ever compare to my beloved double double. But hell I was wrong that burger was on point served with some fries. The other item ordered by my lovely wife was a caramelized on smash burger my wife however is one of those that picks her food apart. This was the exception she devoured the first part of her burger and gave me the other half to try. It was absolutely divine!! It was served with battered onion chips and a ranch sauce. Folks I must say I never in a million years would have imagined saying anything was better the the good old French fry but once again I was wrong they were phenomenal and finally the cheesecake was absolutely perfect. Once again my words fail to do this justice...
Read moreI took my mom to Mission Winery for Mother’s Day, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere had a cool indoor-outdoor vibe with large open garage-style doors, so we could enjoy the view of people walking by while still feeling cozy and relaxed inside. We were seated right away, even though we arrived a little early, and everyone was so warm and welcoming.
The curated brunch menu was thoughtful and absolutely delicious. I had the quiche, and my mom had the chicken salad sandwich—both were divine. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I didn’t need to add salt, pepper, or anything else. The flavors were beautifully balanced and worked so well together. They also brought out a bread plate when we first sat down, which was such a nice and unexpected treat.
The drinks were just as impressive. I had the lavender sangria, my mom had the prickly pear mimosa, and we later shared an espresso martini. All of them were fantastic. We were seated near the bar, so we got to watch the team make our drinks, and it was fun to see the care and creativity they put into their craft.
This was our first real brunch together, and Mission Winery made it feel so special. The food, the drinks, the service, and the overall vibe were all top-notch. Highly recommend for a weekend outing or any...
Read moreMy wife and I went out for a Valentine’s dinner, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. I should have taken the hint when there were still reservations available just four days before Valentine’s Day—probably a sign that this place isn’t great. On top of that, we had to pre-pay $200, which I now realize is a red flag. If a restaurant is confident in its food, they wouldn’t need to lock you in ahead of time.
The "4-course meal" was far from worth the price. The portions were tiny—an oyster drowned in onions, a deviled egg overloaded with dill and a couple of small lobster pieces, and while the lobster bisque was decent (tasted oddly like Teddy Grahams), that was the only real highlight.
For the main course, I ordered salmon, and my wife had the beef. My salmon was extremely raw and had to be remade. When I finally got it, it was okay but nothing special. My wife’s beef? It straight-up tasted like Dinty Moore from a can—she barely touched it.
They did comp the one drink we ordered for the issues, but honestly, this meal was nowhere near a $200 experience or anything resembling "fine dining." We walked away feeling ripped off and disappointed. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
At least the waitstaff was friendly and...
