Mrs. Sprinkles Ice Cream — Restaurant in Albuquerque

The first day we went, we couldn't decide what to get because we wanted everything. Ice cream doughnut, ice cream cookie sandwich, loaded sundae, shake, or ice cream taco, and that's not even all of it. I went with a sundae and got cookie butter and butter crunch ice cream. Loaded with cookie pieces and peanut butter. My husband got a peanut butter overload ice cream sundae. Loaded with chocolate, peanut butter, Oreos, cookie pieces, and of course whipped cream and a cheery on top. Her whipped cream was like whipped icing. So thick and creamy and didn't melt into mush. It was so good that we had to come back the next day. I ordered the ice cream taco that came in a crispy cinnamon-sugar taco shell. I told the owner (who is there working her butt off) who was super sweet to just do what she knows is good. It came loaded with salted caramel brownie ice cream, nuts, caramel, chocolate fudge, whipped cream, a cherry, and of course, sprinkles. My husband got something delicious, but I didn't pay attention because I was so fascinated by the taco in front of me. They even had a “pay it forward” section that was super cute. People wrote on the cups they bought for others things like “A Grandma, A Tourist, A person having a bad day”. What a great idea. This is somewhere we will come every time we visit...

We are regular customers, and I absolutely love that there are so many vegan flavors that are actually delicious. At the time of this review, they had 8 unique options. They also carry a wide assortment of flavors of regular ice cream, including the classics. Plus, I love the creativity of ice cream sundaes, milkshakes (the best in town, according to my kids), and other ice cream treats (ice cream tacos, anyone?).

The best part of Mrs. Sprinkles Ice Cream is how amazing the staff are. They are all super friendly and helpful, even when you're plagued with indecision (helpful hint, you can get more than one flavor even if you're only getting a single scoop).

As a side note, you can have parties at Mrs. Sprinkles! I reserved the shop on a Tuesday evening (when they were closed) to commemorate a certain milestone birthday, and it was so much fun! Staff were there to serve the ice cream, and we were able to bring in our own food and beverages. We cleared the floor for dancing and had a blast!

If you're in the NE Heights area, heck, even if you aren't, do yourself a favor...

We went and checked out Mrs. Sprinkles Ice Cream this afternoon! It was AMAZING! Such a cute little place with unique yummy ice cream desserts to choose from, we got a little bit of everything! My mom got an amazing and cute banana split that was served in a “boat” bowl and then I got a donut ice cream sandwich that was to die for and my son got a cookie ice cream sandwich that had amazing homemade chocolate chip cookies for the cookie and it was way to big for him to finish! 😂 Every single piece of decor is unique and SO cute and thought out! We had a great experience and all of the girls were super cheerful and helpful with picking yummy toppings for our desserts! ♥️ it was super busy and I hope that she stays that way because we would love to be able to visit this place over and over for years to come! 😋 give Ms. Sprinkles ice cream parlor a try, you won’t be...
