Not too bad of a pho restaurant. This time was the 2nd time here, first time we didn't get pho, even though the place is called pho #1. Both hubby and I got the pho. The pho comes in small (or regular?), large and extra large. My husband got the Xtra large (obviously), but I thought that was was full of noodles and not enough meat for an extra large bowl. My small bowl didn't even have enough meat. Not a fan when pho restaurants skimp out on meat. I also thought the pho was so sweet. Not sure why? Probably to satisfy certain palates. Pho shouldn't be sweet... Oh well. We probably won't be back for their pho, but something else would...

the owners are so sweet and hometown-like. I ordered the #38 and it’s a nice blend of healthy veggies, meat, and flavor. The heat isn’t too crazy but it’s enough to creep on you. Broth has an amazing subtle taste of sweetness from hoison sauce if you decide to add it.

I don’t know why, but the cucumber and tomato really brings the whole flavor together.

Lighting is dark and moody if you want a nice quiet little dinner date with someone. There’s a TV playing shows and movies but it’s not obnoxiously loud. They also sell classic vietnamese movies if you’re into that. Good to support a local business and a wonderful...

Came for the Pho; returned for the Foo. Our grandson is stationed here in the air force & stopped by one day to tell us he had found the best Pho in ABQ. I have to agree, it’s damn good pho, the brisket pho has a unique flavor you don’t really get elsewhere. Pho is my favorite Vietnamese dish. I noticed on the menu they also had vegetable egg foo young, which is my favorite Chinese dish. We came back the following week for the foo & it really is the best egg foo young in the 505! Oh & before I forget, the salted lemonade is so delicious, way better than it sounds. 10/10...

Albuquerque has dozens of Vietnamese restaurants and out of several I’ve tried, I find myself coming back to Pho #1. I usually get the rare steak brisket tendon tripe with a spring rolls that has the fish sauce. The broth is very savory and flavorful. The meats are nice and tender. The family that runs the restaurant is super friendly and I can’t help but always want to support their business. Please come to Pho #1, one of the best Phos in town!

#48 Pho with rare brisket, and fresh spring rolls… cannot go wrong! Love that plenty of chile was offered on the side. I prefer hot while many don’t, so having it served in a side bowl was perfect. Green iced tea was also refreshing, and generously poured. Took home an order of combination fried rice; lots of meats, veggies added and end result was probably the best I have ever had. This place is a hole in the wall gem, a must try.
