I hardly ever write a bad review but here we go. We waited for over an hour and 15 minutes in our car in line to get to the front (meanwhile cars behind you are bypassing the line by cutting across). When you finally get to the beginning of the lights, there were ads playing on speakers inbetween the music. ADVERTISEMENTS for Samsung, car insurance, etc. What the heck? Then the lights. The lights were lazily placed and strung on the outside of cardboard cutouts as if the entire thing had been set up that very night in only 30 minutes. Not to mention some of the lights didn't even light up. The entire thing took 5 minutes to drive through after over an hour and 15 minutes of waiting. For the $65 that was paid we surely could have spent the night doing something way better. If you want to go see lights, go to the River of Lights instead; way cheaper and you'll save yourself the...

If you have ever been to a Christmas light show in any other city please AVOID this at all cost. It's an embarrassment and there was barely any effort put into this. People put more effort into their home decorations than this and don't pay over $50 for it. Even for a good light show, it's too expensive. The kids were uninterested. Majority of it is a walking path. It seems like this was thrown together with very little thought put into it. This was highly disappointing as I have been to much better light shows all over the country. I would have been better off driving through neighborhoods in town. I'm not sure where the good reviews are from but I would guess it is from those who have only ever been to local light shows and never been to shows in other. Cities. Please save your time and money and don't make the...

Really terrible traffic control. We arrived within the first hour of opening in order to “beat the crowds”, scanned our entrance ticket at the booth and then waited for an hour with many confused drivers not knowing how many lanes were queuing. Then they opened up additional lanes after we had been waiting for 20 minutes and those cars were let through ahead of us. All drivers were courteous and patient with each other, but this disorganization is something I expect from a free event. All that hassle (let alone $$$!) was not worth the short drive-through display. I really want to support local attractions like this, but it was just too disorganized. Bummed I spent money on this. Won’t...

Winter Wonderland is such a magical experience! My friend brought her daughters with us and they were in complete awe. It’s important to note that there are 2 parts to the wonderland, drive-thru and walk-thru! We took a hay ride through the drive-thru portion while sipping hot chocolate. The light show was great and definitely something I haven’t seen here in Albuquerque. Afterwards we walked thru a beautiful display of lights, Christmas characters and luminarias. To warm up we got some food at the various food trucks and made our way indoors where they have local vendors, face painting and pictures with Santa! All in all we had a Winter Wonder(ful) time and would highly recommend this season :)

So cute & fun! 😍 There’s a drive thru AND a walk thru part included in one ticket - don’t skip the walk thru, it’s the best part!! They have free professional photos with Santa & Mrs Claus - printed and emailed to you!- professional characters for kids to pose with (Blippi was our night but they also have princesses etc), face painting, hot chocolate, & local vendors! We loved the luminaria area & the drive-thru arch. Kids will love the cement truck, tow truck & train covered in lights, plus the characters walking around & all the different blow-ups! There are heat lamps & firepits throughout to warm up, and Santa/photo opps are in an indoor heated area. Fun for the family!

Honestly, Winter Wonderland is what the holidays are all about: an engaging event put together by local business, benefiting everyone in the community. The price is fair when you consider that there are multiple people included in that price (per vehicle), and you leave full on hot cocoa & some holiday spirit, you have to give credit where credit is due. Despite all of the obstacles COVID creates for local business to flourish, the creators of this event have prevailed and provided a beautiful date night or family outing opportunity.
