Was on a road trip with my older and younger brother and stopped in Albuquerque, NM. Google a place to sit and eat and found Pizza 9 Revel. I am a native of Gary, IN, and grew up on Chicago style pizza. Place was shutting down but was still serving. There was ample seating had the place been packed and there was an impressive array of pinball machines to play while we waited. We ordered a 14 inch pizza with about 5 toppings. When the pizza was ready I thought it might not make it to the table before I would steal just a quick slice. Upon first bite, my brothers and I looked at each other with amazement as we were instantaneously transported back to the amazing Chicago style pizza our childhood. The food was so amazing that 5 days later on our drive back to Arizona, we stopped and took our Mom this time. The gentleman who took our order suggested the Chicago beef Calzone and I hadn't seen my Moms face light up like that since my Dad passed recently. This is the best Chicago style pizza in or outside of Chicago. My brother's and I are planning a road trip back to Albuquerque just to get more!...
Read morePizza 9 offers a free cheese cake when setting up an online account. Not only did we set up an account; we called Pizza 9 due to having a coupon for two medium specialty pizzas and 2 liter soda. When we spoke to Gloria, we mentioned the free cheese cake via new acct set up and and coupon for our order; she said bring in your phone to show confirmation on setting up the new account. When I arrived, Gloria would not honor the free cheese cake due to only being able to offer one discount per transaction. She then proceeded to ask if I still wanted the cheese cake, and of course I stated: "Not if I have to pay for it!" I was frustrated and asked for the manager, he begrudgingly gave me the cheese cake. Finally, I can explain about the pizza experience; we ordered the LOBO and All Meat. All I can say is both pizzas were not exceptional and reminded me of Pizza Hut with higher prices. I consider Dion's and Mario's* as exceptional pie makers.

Read moreI would not order from here, here is why. I recently ordered 2 pizzas for 6 adults here in the bus line. Our bus was delayed over 5 hours.
I explained this to the employee and let him know we are hungry and the people don’t have much money so I’m personally gonna just pay for everyone so whatever deal or special we would be given would be greatly appreciated. I even tipped the driver.
When the pizza arrived they sent 2 small pizzas. I paid 50$ for 2 small pizzas and some drinks.
They openly ripped me off. What makes me angry over this is, the people whom I bought the food for just like myself were tired and weary travelers. You took advantage of our situation for what 50$ in pizza? Versus several happy customers who would have given you positive reviews and would have sent you more of a tip.
So I truly urge anyone who sees this review to not go to this...
