Panda Express — Restaurant in Albuquerque

HORRIBLE customer service. If you have other options, I definitely recommend you eat elsewhere. This place has proven to be problematic and tonight was THE last straw. I made use of their mobile ordering system and made my way to the restaurant. Upon arriving at my assigned pickup time, I go to the front door where there is ZERO signage indicating how I pick up my order. The doors are locked and surely I'm thinking I shouldn't have to go through the drive thru to simply pick up an order. At least three employees INCLUDING the on-shift manager glance at me standing at the door. They continue on with their business. Dumbfounded, I return to my car and try to call. To no surprise, the line rings endlessly. I call a second time and upon the 7th ring I get someone. It's the manager and I explain that I'd like a refund due to their extremely poor customer service. He comes out and apologizes which is fine but I also voice my issue with the fact that three employees, INCLUDING HIM, basically ignored me standing at their door. Additionally, the lack of instruction indicating how I pick up an order was nowhere to be found. There's no sense in using the mobile ordering system only to require those patrons to go through the drive thru. That makes zero sense. Additionally, while so many restaurants are suffering from loss of business during the pandemic, fast food places like this one are still in business. You think they would have customer satisfaction in mind. Instead, I get a generic apology and an exasperated manager telling me that he's glad I brought up the pandemic because he has to spend 13 hours in a mask for people like me. Guess what, I spend 10 hours a night in a mask myself in the healthcare field so his point was moot. Been going to this place for several months now in the span of a few years, for the past few years I've lived here in Albuquerque and this Panda Express has been the MOST reliable out of them all! Out of the MANY Panda Express restaurants I've been to, this one here has been the most consistent with it's food, service, and atmosphere. The most recent manager, named Ezra, has been a more recent hire from the time of writing this, despite having worked at this location for a week, he fits right in with everyone else and has been the most accomadating out of all the previous managers before him, he's also more out n' about compared to the others, the food here is excellent too, cooked to perfection nearly 80-90% of the time I've gone here, with the rare few times the food didn't come out right of course, having more flavor than most foods I've had, and not to mention the employees who are usually always friendly and have a funny bone most of the time when chatting with them. I recommend this Panda Express the most in particular to anyone who stops by this place and wants something good to fill their stomachs, or to just chill for a bit.

I stopped going to this location a long time ago. I stopped by today because it was on my way home and this was a last minute decision. I checked the close time which said 10pm, I arrived a few minutes before 8pm, there was one car in the drive thru and no one inside. When I got inside there was no super veggies when I asked if there were more the employee just looked at me. I was getting 3 plates (two 2 entrees and one 3 entree). They had no teriyaki and said they were not going to cook anymore, it was only 8pm, the store closes at 10pm. They were basically out of everything and already cleaning up. As the employee helping me was trying to get my order together the other two employees who were working the drive thru kept cutting Infront of her not allowing her to get my order together. The manager who was there was already cleaning up as well not doing anything about the lack of options to choose from.
