We tried this place after seeing an Instagram post, but let me tell you how misleading THAT was. The post advertised this fresh made food outside, and you could even pet the farm animals while there - SO not the case. I understand this business has multiple locations - so maybe that should be specified because this wasn't it! Aside from that disappointment, it was just the total confusion out waitress had. For starters, once we got to the table - she's immediately asking us what we wanted to drink. Can we look at the menu first, or at least sit down for a second? So while trying to get situated I asked a few questions like what type of juice did they have. Initially she just said "orange juice," and I'm looking around like "this is a Mexican restaurant. You don't have agua frescas?" Then she says "oh yes, we do," like she forgot. Okayyy...So she took those orders for myself, son and my 2 yo daughter (we had two more people showing up shortly). Then the chips and what was supposed to be salsa was brought out, but let me tell you- this was salsa soup. It was so liquidity - like WHYYY? When my dad and sister arrived they had a few questions about the drinks and ended up getting a lemonade & pineapple juice. I got my drink which was a fresh pineapple juice in what comes in a large glass. Then there was another pineapple juice that came in a smaller glass which was supposed to be for my two year old and they gave that to my dad. Meanwhile my daughter is without a drink, and my dad didn't get the full size drink that it's supposed to be. The waitress asked who brought the drinks, and I told her another girl, and she said she'll correct it but ended up taking my dad's drink- so weird. A whole 20 plus minutes later my sister, dad and daughter still don't have the correct drink. We asked like three times on the status only to be told"they're making it," like they were literally hand squeezing each ingredient, which is crazy to me because THIS-IS-A-RESTAURANT; they should already have large batches of this stuff! It truly amazes me how some people are able to open a restaurant with this poor thinking. After all of that, we're trying to look over the menus to figure out what to eat and we realized everyone didn't have one. So I had to ask for another one. When were finally ready to order our food we realized they didn't have staple meals like fajitas or even enchiladas with ground beef. Smh. My sister opted to try and customize an order with just the fajita meat with added rice and beans. That was a mistake. I ordered their Dorado tacos and beef birriria ramen. My son got chicken street tacos. It got pretty annoying because the waitress kept coming back asking what we ordered. I know she saw the frustration and confusion on our face because went really couldn't understand what the problem was. In her own frustration she told us that this was her first day. Face palm🤦🏽. Out of all the people we get- it's one who really didn't know what she was doing. We kept seeing people that came in after us getting their good quicker than us. And hour later, my sister got what looked like chopped steak on a plate. The chicken tacos were dry. My tacos thankfully were pretty good with all the fixings. The ramen was ok. It literally just tasted like noodles in beef broth. Later I realized I didn't see one drink menu or passing margaritas, so I asked. She forgot to bring that as well. I ordered two watermelon margaritas- these were pretty good also. Needless to say I won't be coming back. Hopefully I can spare someone the heartache and wasted time & money of...
Read moreWell I had high hopes for this place after reading their reviews. When I drove up I was disappointed to see this place was old and run down. I should have turned around and left when I saw the painted tires as decoration with plants in them But I am known to like a hole in the wall a time or two. We decided to give it a try Since it appeared to be busy. This place offers lots of options for food, desserts and drinks. I was excited to even try some desserts or ice cream. We started out by ordering the birrieria tacos with cheese Since this place claims to have the best in town. At 1st I didn't think they were too bad but definitely not the best I've ever had. I have to agree with another reviewer, these were the most overpriced tacos I had ever ordered in my life. Halfway through the meal my wife was done eating, she told me the taste was getting to her. I too was not feeling it anymore so this meant no desserts. We paid and we left, on our way home my wife started to feel sick and i wasnt feeling so hot either. We both regret giving yhis place a try. We definitely will not be returning to this place and I do not recommend that anybody go here. Another 60 seconds down the road and you can go to one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area, Alma Latina. I added photos of the place so you can see it...
Read moreAt first we liked the place had a nice big menu and looked cute inside but after ordering they apparently forgot about us so an hr had already passed we initially got there at 11:56 and then we didn’t get our food until 1:13ish then we ate our food which was normal nothing to be wowed about but we had asked for a michelada at 1:30 and then 30 minutes had passed so it was 2pm then I asked 3 workers when was the michelada arriving they all said it was coming , then we got annoyed because we wanted to drink it with our food and we finished that and then we asked for the check and mind you the check came quicker than the michelada also we payed the tab and the michelada was on there so I just told them to pack it for to-go and then they still took another 15 minutes just to bring me a cup w Tajín rim and michelada mix n just the beer like come on now it shouldn’t have taken 45 minutes and we basically left at 3pm so I felt like I wasted my whole afternoon...
