Denny's — Restaurant in Aldine

VISITED on April 25th. I would definitely have given this pig stye a zero if there was an option. I went here with my Fiancee but I will NEVER step into this place EVER AGAIN. It's darkly lit as though there's something they're trying to hide. It's a smaller Restaurant and It was very crowded so it was NOT at all cautious about The safety of it's Customers amid the Pandemic. But the most DISGUSTING thing of All is that there was WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR which appeared to have originated in the kitchen area. Several workers were trying to mop up the water with a Sqeegy. Yes... A SQEEGY that's how much water was puddle on the floor. Water tracks on the floor led from the entrance door the a table in a corner in back of restaurant. While walking through I noticed tables had not been cleared off where the customer had already left. When we got to the table we were to be seated at there was food ALL over the floor whereas I had to carefully watch my footing as not to step into it. There was food and syrup still all over the chairs and the table which had not been wiped. The Hostess put the menus down and just walked away. I kept calling for her to return but she ignored my calls for attention. A young waitress serving a different table actually walked up and offered to help. I told her I needed someone to clean up the area we were escorted to. She went and got someone to come over and this person was Very Very Rude... Throwing the chairs around as she swept and when I asked her to also wipe the table and especially the chairs she Simply said: MOVE!!! While continually throwing the chairs about as if she was Very angry for having to Clean at all. After taking in All the signs that it would be More Beneficial to my Health to just LEAVE I looked up at my Fiancee and simply said: I'M. LEAVING! NOW! THEN I TREKKED BACK THROUGH ALL THAT WATER AND WALKED OUT. Upon getting back in the vehicle I Googled Another nearby Denny's. What a Difference. Clean. Spacious. Brightly lit. Friendly Staff. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT TASTING FOOD. AN EXCEPTIONALLY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. But that's Another Review. I think it would be an injustice for them to have to share the same page as the HORRIBLE. DISGUSTING. FILTHY. DARKLY LIT. UNCLEAN AND UNKEPT LOCATION AS THE PREVIOUS ONE BEFORE IT. Shame on You for even Opening your doors on this day in this condition. YOU HAVE LOST BOTH ME AND MY FIANCEE AS CUSTOMERS FOREVER. Last...

I will never go here again!! We (party of 2) ordered food to eat at restaurant and food to go home with. Ordered coffee for now and my friend ordered a coke with her meal. Needless to say nothing was served as asked . Coke was delivered first . then creamer (2 bowls ) then 2 glasses of water ..All of our food was brought to the table in to go boxes. Minus a few items that were brought to the table one at a time. The waitress would stand over you, waiting on a response. While you are trying to eat. Then with her waist length hair in braids she turned so hard to walk away she came inches from hitting my nose. I was trying to have a conversation with my friend, was repeatedly interrupted. As we finally asked for a bag to just leave. As we were waiting I was looking over receipt. which I was over charged for items instead of substituting prices I was charged full price. After being annoyed by waitress over and over. Her mother came over and asked if everything was ok as I responded yes If people would quit bugging me. to get her to leave and she stood there like the waitress was doing. Then walked about 10 feet a said that if people didn't want to be bugged they shouldn't come to a restaurant. No Worries here. Don't waste your day coming here for a friendly dinner, lunch or breakfast. There are plenty of other places around. Oh BTW there was 3 tables in total in the restaurant with customers. I have had nothing but grief the last 3 times I have come to this...

Walked in and hostess says she be right back, and then went in the back. My husband and I sat on a bench to wait. A little while later the hostess comes back out and answers phone. Right after that a group of (same race as hostess) people enter. Hostess fawns over them and immediately takes them to a table. When she gets back my husband and I stare at her until she asks "can I help you?" I told her yes we are waiting to be taken to our table. Finally get to table and waitress comes over (Mrs. Dimples very nice) we order and not to long later get our food. My salad was nice and big and just what I ordered......except the avocado was sliced so thin you could not pick it up with a fork and the chicken pieces were so brown and hard. Looked like they had been sitting out for a while then refried. My husband portions was really little. Got thru eating an went to pay. Another group (same race as hostess) was at counter. She was taking individual orders from about 8 to 10 people. Totally got ignored again. Finally we gathered the exact amount of bill and I laid it on counter saying I was not going to wait and left. We did personally hand waitress her tip. Do not recommend this place. Will add pictures if I can...
