I stayed at this hotel on saturday 12/28 - 12/30. While staying at this hotel I went outside at 5am to go to the corner store and was harrassed all the way out the door by employee Hussain. Hussain kept asking me for my ID (which was in my car) then he asked me for my room key and room number. I ignored him and he started yelling at me to show him my ID. I continued to walk to my car after I told him my ID was in the car as he was yelling at me. Once I got to the car I just sat in it in disbelief while he stood at the door and watched me for 5 mins. I then left and went to the store and came back 30 mins later. When I got back to the hotel. I gave him my ID and he snatched it out of my hand, and then asked me for my room number. I told him I do not know my room number (which i didnt, i just walk to my room and open the door without thinking about what room number is). He told me that he is only doing his job. I asked one of the other customers that were staying at the hotel walking around the lobby did he check their ID or room number and the gentleman said No. I asked Hussain why was he harassing and depicting my character? He proceeded to start yelling at me about me not knowing my room number and I asked why he did not pull up my room by my ID and he said that he needed my room number so I asked why did you need my ID if you only needed my room number. This was an exhausting process that I have NEVER endured at ANY hotel. Only to give me a paper that they slide under the door for check out. Seemed a little strenuous for just a checkout receipt that was gonna be slid under the door.
That same morning I spoke with the manager whom assured me he would solve the situation. I then booked another night with another employee + the manager whom said he was going to discount my 2nd night stay which ended up being regular price (48 a night). I also asked for room service after booking another night.
After booking another night we left and went to the mall and came back to our room (7pm) still UNCLEAN. We called down to ask why ? and we were told they would clean the room tomorrow (the day we checked out). We asked them to bring us towels which they did not do. The next morning Hussain brought us towels to our room after we called front desk. My wife answered the door and he was on the phone and shoved them in her hands and said house keeping is not here yet. WE CHECKED OUT THAT SAME DAY so housekeeping doesnt matter at this point.
Trash is full, dirty towels, bad service, bad mannerisms, unprofessional, discrimination etc
My wife is 8 months pregnant and I am a recently separated Veteran....
Read moreNormally, I don't write a review unless I feel the needs for it in hoping others will not make the same mistake I did. I used this place for parking my car for a 4 days and 3 nights travel. They have very competitive rates. However, the service did not meet my expectations. When I arrived for the check in, the front desk really took her time to help a customer in front of me. By the time she able to help me checking in, my flight was already in 1 1/2 hours window. After checking in, the front lady informed me that the shuttle don't leave until about 20 minutes later. I was checking Uber for an alternative option, but it would take Uber almost the same amount of time for the Uber - luckily my flight was delayed. In return trip, I called front desk and spoke with a front desk lady to request a transportation. She told me it would take about 20-30 minutes. After 45 minutes later, I called to to ask if the driver was coming and I got the same respond that the driver is coming from terminal C and will stop by my terminal E in front of 202 door. After more than a hour later, the driver showed up. On the way back to the hotel, the driver also had to pick up another customer at a different terminal. By the time I got back to hotel parking lot, it took them more than 1 hour 30 minutes. The point I want to make here is the hotel fails to provide shuttle transportation for its customers in a timely matter even though the distance between the hotel and airport terminals is within 2-3 miles radius as advertising online. In conclusion, I would not recommend this for hotel for parking services due to inefficient shuffle services. I did not stay at this hotel thus I don't have any comments, but I would think twice before making the decision. However, I highly recommend its management to have more drivers to better assist...
Read moreI stayed here recently for a work trip and would strongly advise this place be avoided at all costs. I am in law enforcement and stayed here for 2 nights while attending a training with my K9 partner. The hotel knew about my K9 from the beginning and still gave me grief about him being in the hotel. Even though a worker had a dog in one of the rooms by the front desk that barked alot and mine didn't make a sound. As soon as you walk into the hotel you get hit in the face with the odor of marijuana. Not to mention the people in the parking lot that were smoking marijuana freely without any concern. The ceiling outside my room looked like someone had fallen through it and the damage was just left. The manager, who refused to give me her name and insisted that "I just call her Glenn", refused to give me a receipt for my stay. She said that I booked my stay through a 3rd party and would have to get a receipt from them. Just to clarify, I booked my stay through the Wingate website "Glenn" just didn't want to help me. I waited two days for a receipt and finally called the hotel back after I still hadn't received anything. Not surprising but there was no answer. I did finally get a receipt after I filed a formal complaint against the hotel through their customer service department. "Glenn" made it very clear that she did not like law enforcement when she said that no pets were allowed in the hotel, minus her employees pets of course. Moral of the story, learn from my experience and go somewhere you wont get a contact high trying...
