Casey's — Restaurant in Alexandria

One Saturday morning we decided Pizza sounded like a good idea. Working night shifts can turn a persons idea of dinner time into an anomaly for most when Pizza is being ordered at 7:30 am. The pizza was just coming out of the oven, piping hot and loaded with cheese when I arrived. The staff on this particular morning actually made the visit really fun! They were super busy of course for all the morning folk that like to grab a quick bite for breakfast whilst the night owls waited for the boxing of pepperoni pizza. Every single staff member was actively working but I wasn’t ignored at all. I was greeted immediately and the word spread quickly that I was there to pick up an order. In fact one guy making salads, entertained me with his witty jokes as another person ran to the back to grab fresh brownie bites (yeah.. we had dessert after pizza at 8:30am🤷‍♀️) and yet another person started slicing and boxing my order. Before I knew it.. I was out the door and in a great mood because everyone I encountered on this day was so pleasant.

On other visits we have tried the biscuits and gravy too which was hot and fresh tasting. For a not made from home kind of dish.. I was pleasantly surprised.

Some people complain about change, or they don't have your online order... well those are things the store cannot fix. You ordered somewhere else, or they don't have enough 20s or 10s for a 100. All these things happen. I'd say if you have a late pizza or the store is dirty then yes complain. However, how are they supposed to fix something that they cannot control. Constructive criticism is a need and this is it: get more staff, however your lines may not be slow they get packed often. At night the counters are never clean when I walk in and the soda machines get all sticky but during the day this has never been a problem. The other day I went in someone was getting trained during a lunch rush, I would say if they were better trained maybe have them up there but the man was confused so please know when and when not to hold up a line for that long.

Otherwise great store, great people, and great service (until you find expired snack items). Also no one there knows where cigarettes...

Yes this place maybe small and if you were driving past it on the way into or leaving Starbuck you might not notice it you would for sure see the pumps but the building it's self you might think was a small shed buts it's Not that is there gas station but I do have mention that once in side the place is surprisingly roomy with all the things you find in side any gas station so please don't think that there isn't a selection. I do have to tell you if you come in the evening you most likely will encounter and very helpful and nice young lady she is absolutely a ray of light in a world that can be hectic so I have to say that is why I gave this place a Five 🌟 Stars.
