Avoid Eating China Cafe!

I'm not sure who is responsible for this experience, but it made me write this review. Each of the dishes my fiancé and I ordered online from this restaurant for dinner had significant hygiene problems and the service was lousy.

The Beef Chow Fun did not look appealing. The beef was fat and glossy, and pink in the middle when we bit in. When we removed the beef, from the dish we found that the noodles were flavorless and had to add a lot of seasoning to it.

The spiciest level Hot and Sour soup was mild, and while it tasted okay, we repeatedly found chunks of chicken in a soup that is supposed to be exclusively tofu.

The worst offender was the Roasted Pork Chow Mein that, according to their website, included a side of rice. An employee called and told me that I was confused because Chow Mein does not have noodles and neither meal comes with rice as a side. She suggested I switch to Lo Mein instead but did not offer another substitute or refund that side. When we eventually started eating the Lo Mein, we discovered a dead fly in the food.

We were initially excited to order from a local restaurant and save leftovers for the next day. But we ended up having to waste our money throwing inedible food away. Unless they go through some major changes, I would steer clear...

Order delivery from China Cafe around 1:13 PM. I ordered a Large Curry Chicken, medium spice, with Brown Rice and Crab Rangoon. The delivery was due 2:07 PM but the driver got there a little earlier than that. He did try to call but somebody let him into the building before I could answer the phone so he met me in the hallway. Only issue was he was talking to me but there was no eye contact. He was on his phone the whole time. I don't really care - I prefer fast delivery to super-polite delivery. But some of you might not like that. The food was all good though, to be honest, the brown rice was kind of...meh. I mean, brown rice is kind of bland to start with but most Chinese restaurants try to spice it up with something. This was just brown rice with nothing added. Once again not really a problem - brown rice is healthy for you and much of the time is bland. In other words nothing to complain about but nothing to...

So I made an order and I cancelled it because I was called into work and I wouldn't be able to go eat it Then I told the lady to cancel it then she was like oh no we already cooked it when the delivery time is 3:50 when I called at 3:05 so this lady was like calling me stupid and all I wanted to do was cancelled the order next thing you know she's cursing me out and I'm like sorry I don't know how to cancel the order so she hanged up on me then I called back just to clarify then she was like don't call this place again then I told her yo where's the manager then she was like no manager here then hanged up on my ass like damn she was complaining about how she got charged like nah girl chill down it ain't that serious next thing yeah know I'm ordering pizza this damn place deserves a 0...
