I ordered for the first time today through Door Dash (an option on their website). I received an incomplete order. I received one item out of the three things I ordered. I called the location immediately. A guy answered and I told him what had happened.
While on the call with him I became very frustrated yet, I remained polite. I explained that I recieved an incomplete order and named the two missing items. The guy on the phone with me repeatedly asked what was missing. I was so confused. I explained what was missing from my order SEVERAL times (it had to be about 10 times) and he was still questioning me. I felt like he didn't believe me, which was more frustrating. I offered to send him a photo of what I recieved but no-- he breezed over my comment and continued to ask what was it that I recieved or lack thereof.
My receipt was stapled on to the stapled bag with one item inside. The receipt was correct, however I received an incomplete meal. I was so irritated. I was irritated with not having my complete order and the phone service that I experienced.
The man passed the phone to another guy and I explained the same to him. He was more pleasant to speak with than the initial person I spoke with. I asked if they could drop off my missing items that I paid for. He told me they could not. And asked me to come pick it up. I told him that I could not and that was the purpose of me placing my order for delivery.
His recommendation was to request a refund through Door Dash, and that's what the result was. However, on a good note-- the one item that was in my bag was tasty (jerk salmon salad). But I'm still bothered on the lack of care and customer service that I received- not cool & especially because I had my mouth set on the other paid items.

Read moreThe food can be one thing but the service and atmosphere is COMPLETELY another. The locker system is a hit or miss. The iPad will show no order found. Or will not show anything but just restart. Then there is no person at the window, order can be ready for 30 minutes and still no pickup. I called the number for pickup times when i arrived at 12:15 , it’s 12:45 right now and no update on if the order is ready ready or anything. I called the number again and employee answers to say “no one is treating you different” it’s not about that, it’s about wasting time on an order saying ready 35 minutes ago….. completely a waste of time Uber order people wait for 40 minutes for order to be done. When the iPad messes up you’re not able to use the locker system is so unorganized. Just a complete waste of time when I could’ve went somewhere else and got the same price food that taste the same and supposedly authentic Jamaican as well.
ADDON: The curry chicken is very mediocre, actually has no curry grill cooking flavor just chicken with curry cause . The skin in chicken on top is oily and then . The vegetables which is shredded cabbage greens and carrots has not an ounce of seasoning. best thing within the meal is the rice of...
Read moreLet me start off by saying that valuing peoples time is very important. This was also my first time coming to the restraurant. I made a online order and the website said it would be ready in 45 minutes. The pick up time was 6:15pm. It took me 30 minutes to drive there. I arrived at 6:17pm and came inside to see roughly 15 other people in the restaurant waiting for their food. This one woman I was talking to said she had been waiting for over an 1-1/2 for her order which she placed in the store.. Needless to say I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes after my pick up time. I would have left if I hadn't already paid online. They were telling customers that ordered in person that the wait time would be over an hour. But they did not text or call me because I had a online order? Many of the other people waiting had the same issue. I would have been fine if they just communicated to me how long it was going to take before I left. That way, I didn't waste over an hour just waiting in the restaurant. Again it just comes down to not having he common courtesy to communicate to their customers. There was also no apology on how it took. The Jerk chicken and Ox tail were both delicious. The rice and peas were...
