If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, DJ's TSP House in Alexandria should be at the top of your list. This spot delivers a harmonious blend of unique flavors, creative drinks, and unparalleled service.
We started with the Deviled Egg Flight—a surprising twist on a classic that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. Next up, the Thai wings, a dish bursting with bold, exotic flavors, and perfectly cooked to achieve that ideal crispy-yet-tender texture.
On the drinks side, we tried the Getting Figgy With It, a cocktail that artfully balanced sweet, herb, and savory notes, and the Marshmallow Mule, a whimsical twist on a classic that added just the right touch of sweetness to the evening. Every sip felt like a masterpiece.
But what truly set the night apart was the service. Austin, our server, managed two large parties of 14 while making us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. His calm demeanor, undivided attention, and flawless customer service elevated the evening to something truly special. He embodied the essence of hospitality, and it’s clear that his passion for the craft shines through.
DJ's Tap House & Grill is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where every detail, from the food to the drinks to the service, is executed with excellence. Whether you’re a foodie, cocktail connoisseur, or just someone seeking a great night out, this is the place to go. Kudos to the team, and a special shoutout to Austin for making the experience...
Read moreI'd give it more stars but we were told it was happy hour so ordered a beer off happy hour menu as well as told kids eat free on Sundays, I asked if it was all kids or kind of per adult type thing (we have more then two kids)and the server told me "All kids eat free on Sundays." Well after got all our food and drinks and we are almost all done eating the server came over to our table and told me she was wrong about all kids eat free on Sundays so I would have to be charged for the third kids meal, oh and it was not happy hour because it was not mon-Friday... although server told us it was happy hour without us asking. I get there new people but that is when you ask experienced staff if you don't know for sure. So $35 more later I was pretty annoyed. If I knew they didn't share tips I might have not have tipped well but that's not fair to bar staff and other servers, etc helping out. The food was great, hot and didn't have to wait long for it wasn't busy being time of day we went. Everyone was nice, very clean and nice atmosphere, just kind of annoyed that was told things that were not true even when I asked questions to clarify. I have worked customer service in food industry and if staff tells you something, you honor it, it's employees fault not...
Read moreI have been here before and reviewed with one star because of poor service (see original review at the end). I tried a second time, completely alone, because of the solid tap selection and it was fine. However, after visiting DJ's Taphouse with my son and boyfriend yesterday, I have decided that we will not be returning nor ever recommending. The three of us we kicked from the bar and told to sit at a table because we had a child with us. We were only served one beer each and then were told to leave before my son was even able to drink his lemonade. We had just got done driving for three hours from up North to visit my passing Grandmother, and we simply wanted a couple drinks and some lemonade for our son before heading to our hotel for the night. We were shocked by the treatment that we received. DJ's Taphouse is not family friendly and I would not suggest going there to anyone. If only Google allowed zero stars because DJ's doesn't deserve even one. Original: DJ's Taphouse gets one star BECAUSE AND ONLY BECAUSE of their phenomenal tap list. Getting one of the bartenders to notice you long enough to serve you one of these beers on tap is the trouble. Best tap list I have ever encountered, worst...
