Be sure to arrive during busy hrs.(it's a Japanese buffet, not mcdonalds) Obviously if you arrive hangry between busy hrs you will find a buffet that needs to be refilled, Just ask nicely or etc. Im not a sushi fan however I've been told there is not better sushi within 45 min. ride from 41001. Yes, like any other establishment there may be an employee that may not be everyone's favorite. I haven't had a nevative experience with any of the employees there. If the buffet food is not up to par for you, they will easily with no complaint bring fresh from kitchen your choice of buffet foods right to the table or quickly refill the buffet. Lets be real, its a Japanese buffet/takeout/sushi restaurant. Not a 5 star jeff Ruby's or etc. If you want their best service be nice while requesting the best they have to offer. Read moreI just wanted to say that I eat at your restaurant frequently and have always enjoyed it. However, tonight I brought my mother here for dinner and the food and service that we received was very poor. We came around 6:00 PM, most of the food was either not replenished or was hard/burnt from sitting out too long. The server never once came by again to offer us refills or remove any used dishes, upon checking out out at the register, we were not even asked if we enjoyed our meal. My mother did not enjoy her meal and I was embarrassed for bringing her here. If you do not plan on offering the same quality food and service as you do on the weekends, then you should reduce the cost of your buffet during the week and maybe try to limit the buffet offerings to just the most popular dishes...there may be less variety but at least the food would be fresh and appetizing. At this point I do not think I will frequenting your establishment regularly anymore as tonight's dinner literally put a bad taste...
Read moreThis is my second time dining at Ichiban buffet. The first time I visited the food had good flavor but everything was cold or luke warm at best. I had came when they first opened so I figured maybe it was a fluke. Today was the same, all food was cold and our server didn’t give us a single refill the entire time. She always came and cleared away plates while I was up at the buffet so I had to wait until I saw her to ask for a refill. (Which was a while because she was hiding most of the time) I brought someone with Alzheimer’s with me which I let her know ahead of time. She was short with him and the two times we had to ask her for something she had an attitude and rolled her eyes.
