Okay I have been coming here since they open early this year and I bring friends and family spend a lot of money . But tonight 11/22/2024 I came in with my daughter I ordered wings and she got a Boba; after 13 minutes of waiting we ask for the Boba and the lady “Boss” goes and “make it “ the comes back and saids she doesn’t have it I’m like okay, give me a refund she saids she will have to charge me again I’m like no because you already charge me twice and now you can’t give me a refund and want me charge me for a 3rd time . I told her I come all the time she agreed but still wanted to charge me . Is one thing if she didn’t know how to do the refund but is another when you’re refuse to give me one when I know is possible without charging for a 3rd time knowing that I’m a customer that always comes . I just got done eating at Tom Ramen and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the Karaage Ramen, which usually comes with fried chicken. Due to dietary restrictions, I asked if they could substitute the fried chicken with grilled chicken. The lady who assisted me was incredibly accommodating and happy to make the change, which I really appreciated.
I also ordered a salmon roll and yellowtail sushi, and I have to say the fish was exceptionally fresh—it practically melted like butter in my mouth. Oof, I was nervous to get ramen from a place with a full Chinese menu and probably should have trusted my gut.
I ordered the volcano ramen, which had two pieces of chasu, and for $16 I would expect at least three. It also didn’t have an egg even though when ordering online it specifically said it included an egg. I found the broth lacking in flavor and depth. The only pro to the ramen to me was the noodles which I enjoyed - well cooked and perfect thickness.
We also ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura and there was no sauce included.
