All about convenience! Has a Bank, CVS Pharmacy--very friendly Staff, Drycleaners- great people as well, Starbucks (ok, yeah I don't like it, and wish it was Dunkin, haha) Nail Salon, Dairy Queen, McDonald's, Taquiero Picoso, a decent place to get drinks, some sandwiches and the gave great chips and salsa. Now, a Sardi's that has really great chicken and other meal choices, plus a few other small shops and, oh, Global Foods-- they have just about every nation covered lol! Kids tend to hang out sometimes near some of the shops--we did the same when young haha, but they're polite and have never had any problems going here. Read moreMy wife and I visited the CVS there after our children's doctor's appointment. From what I understand she liked it. Wasn't overshopped for the quick in and out items we needed. I stayed in the car with the kids but she said that she had a pleasant experience and that the shelves were stocked.
We also went to the Sardis in the plaza as well. Good eats, we haven't been back due to the pandemic and the family not traveling much or being around a lot of people, but I remember the food being good there and it coming out quickly. Can't wait until the pandemic is over so that we can dine out and visit...
Read moreI have been going to this shopping center regularly for the past 10 years and it has consistently gotten worse over the years. Aggressive drivers in the parking lot, overflowing garbage cans, lots of litter, loitering teens and adults at all hours, crummy selection of stores, terrible and filthy grocery store - although sometimes the produce is decent and cheap. JBG should hire a better private security firm and the Alexandria Police Department needs to show more of a presence here. Go to Bradlee. It's safer and cleaner. Starbucks here is...
