Global Food — Local services in Alexandria

am writing this letter to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the recent experiences I have had at your grocery store, global I have been a loyal customer of your establishment for quite some time, but the behavior exhibited by your staff during my last visit was utterly unacceptable.

I went to your store to purchase groceries, as I have done on numerous occasions in the past. However, this time I encountered a group of employees who displayed an appalling level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. It was evident that they had no interest in providing quality customer service or assisting customers with their needs.

When it came time to pack up my groceries, I politely requested assistance from a nearby employee. To my shock and dismay, they not only refused to help me but also began speaking in a language I did not understand, making derogatory comments and mocking me as if I was oblivious to their intentions. This behavior is not only unbecoming of employees but also reflects poorly on your store's reputation.

I would like to emphasize that this is not an isolated incident. During my previous visits, I have noticed a stark contrast in the level of service provided. It seems that the absence of the store manager, who I was informed was on vacation, has created an environment where the staff feels entitled to do as they please without any accountability.

As a customer, I believe I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. The lack of assistance and the demeaning behavior I encountered during my visit left me feeling humiliated and disheartened. Such actions are detrimental to the overall shopping experience and discourage customers from returning to your store.

I kindly request that you take immediate action to address this issue. I expect a thorough investigation into the matter and appropriate disciplinary measures to be taken against the staff members involved. Additionally, I would appreciate being informed of the steps you will be taking to rectify this situation and ensure that all customers are treated with the respect...

WHAT a POOR RETURN POLICY….LOL After over a year shopping in this store every week and at least I spent here over $10000, today for the first time I wanted to return two packs of uncooked refrigerated plan paratha today, BUT the customer service and their MANAGER said that they cannot refund for one of them because one pack was opened (as without opening and using the product how would you know the quality). I told them (the customer service staff (a man), and a male Manager who was standing their) that the quality of the product is so bad because when you cook the paratha it breaks into so many pieces, HE SAID Contact the Company. Honestly, it seemed so funny to me as a customer spent here thousands of dollars..LOL..

Still I can’t believe how a huge store like Global Food can have too poor return policy that ask a customer to provide feedback about the product not to Global Food but to the concerned company...

I hope the GLOBAL FOOD Senior MGT can strengthen their poor policy, or at least be transparent to write on their informative board that is placed in their customer service that customers cannot return open packages of purchased products even within 24 hours….BUT if this is not about their policy but poor knowledge of their relevant manager and customer service staff then a well training workshop is required for them….
