Two Guyz Take & Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Alexandria

We've been loyal 2 Guys fans for a while, but my latest trip really solidified why we love them so much. Not only is the pizza always great (we get the gluten free crust), but I was recently on the receiving end of out-of-this-world service by Scott, one of the owners. Usually when I have an evening pizza pickup, I have our 1-year-old son with me. I had called in our order, but when I showed up, the owner actually stepped outside to tell me they got backed up, and our pizzas weren't ready yet. He said, "I know you usually have the baby with, and didn't want you to go through the trouble of unbuckling him and then having to wait inside and try to keep him busy. I'll just wave you in when they're ready." But instead of waving us in, he went the extra mile and brought our pizzas out to my car, took my debit card inside, swiped, and brought the receipt back out to the car for me to sign. Wonderful family run small business, an asset to our Alexandria community. During the day of New Years Eve I stopped in to order 2 large pizzas, one meat and cheese and one vegan. They were both awesome. Our guests from Minneapolis really appreciated the vegan Greek pizza, said that it was tastier than a Pizza Luce pizza the had eaten last week. That is saying something, as Pizza Luce is great. Dad was in the bakery making the magically delicious thin hand tossed crust. Mom was putting together fresh toppings of all sorts to create the wide variety of flavor, and their daughter was home from college and running the cash register and helping the customers. The pizza here is great & very fresh tasting. The dough is just like mom made. The problem I have is with the guy making the pizza who I assume is the owner. The first time i went in I dealt with a very nice lady that I believe is the co-owner. I went back a second time thinking this will be our new regular pizza place, again, great pizza. The second time I dealt with the guy & i asked a few questions about there selections. The guy was rude & seemed annoyed & was short with me. The co-owner was in there & she stepped in to answer my questions & couldn't have been nicer. Maybe he had an off day but he's in the people business. AGAIN,...
