I have frequented this coffee spot numerous times because I enjoy their lattes. The first couple of times I purchased sandwiches from them, the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh baked croissants. I enjoyed it so much that I invited some friends to meet me there to enjoy a good cup of coffee and some fresh-made food. This time, it was a total debacle. The cinnamon roll was so hard and stale that it must've been several days old. The fruit tea did not taste like fruit. In fact, it didn't taste like tea--it didn't taste like anything. My friend was quite unhappy that the $5 quiche was smaller than a small paper coaster. It simply rattled around on the empty expanse of the small plate on which it was served. Within 3 bites, the quiche was gone, but her hunger was surely not. I was mortified! Here I had been bragging about how great this place was only to wind up apologizing for the tiny, stale, expensive, flavorless options. I felt so bad that all I could do as we visited in the cafe was to sit there chagrined, regretting ever having suggested this spot. Even now, I regret having to post this negative review, but I'm so disappointed in the downhill slide of this coffee spot that was initially a favorite of mine, but alas, it is no more. If big improvements aren't made soon, I do not foresee this coffee shop staying in business...
Read moreFirst off, this establishment is marketed as a coffee shop, but it is so much more than that! If you are a dog lover, this spot is a must. They are incredibly pet friendly and provide water, treats, and a little dog bed in the corner for your pet to enjoy. There are sweet photos plastered on the walls of furry friends who have visited! As for us other beings who are not four legged, it is a must to visit! A friend of mine and our little boys 2 and under in tow went, and we felt so welcomed; the owners won our hearts with the child size table where children can color and the toys displayed. They even had plant cuttings for free!! Service and staff was spectacular, and the indoor and outdoor space is inviting. Thank you Milo and Lucy’s for making our day. We will...
Read moreThis was the most confusing experience. My mother and I walked into a void of customer shop, but were promptly greeted. Had a great conversation with the barista - a memorable enough experience that I shouldn't have had to wait a whole hour just to watch someone else get their food before me. We literally talked about the freshness of the pastries, my want for real food, even them yelling to the back to see if they had croissants. I sat in the front window! How did you forget about the $30 worth of food/drink i ordered and to serve it to me?! At least we got a refund. And a gift card. But i doubt...
