This was our first time visiting WA Sushi & Izakaya and it wonât be the last.
The waiting staff was exceptional from start to finish. They were very welcoming and attentive ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The service was quick and efficient, with both food and drinks promptly delivered to my table. The staff's knowledge of the menu items, both drinks and food, was impressive. They were able to offer insightful recommendations and answer any questions I had, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Now let's talk about the foodâthe highlight of any dining experience. The Baja and Fantasy rolls were truly outstanding and quickly became my favorites. The combination of flavors and textures was a delight to the palate. The Pan Fried Pork Dumplings were another standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with delicious flavors. The Beef Teriyaki had a tantalizing sauce that enhanced the tender meat, leaving me wanting more. The Truffle Salmon Sashimi was a unique and delightful treat, with the truffle adding a touch of decadence to the delicate fish. The Seared Ahi Tuna was impeccably prepared, beautifully seared on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The Mixed Vegetable and Shrimp Tempura provided a delightful crunch and were a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Finally, the Eggplant with Yuzu was a refreshing and flavorful dish that added a vibrant touch to the overall dining experience.

The service was exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff attending to every detail. And the food was simply outstanding, with standout dishes like the Baja and Fantasy rolls, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, and Truffle Salmon Sashimi. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience that combines ambiance, service, and...
Read moreWe have been wanting to go to a restaurant that has yakitori and decided to try this one out. They have some cherry blossom decorations and some where even ready for Christmas. Our major issue was that my wife doesn't eat pork and the older lady (not our waitress) that brought out our food told her the pork belly was chicken. We asked her twice because it was hard to understand her as her native language didn't seem to be english. So my wife unknowingly ate pork. Our waitress seemed genuinely sorry but the older lady didn't bother to apologize. The spicy edamame was good and not spicy as my son ate a good amount of it. It is pricey for what it is as it was $110 for the 3 of us and we only had one soda to drink. The bacon wrap shrimp one was almost $6 for one shrimp. I'm not sure if we would go back. If the lady would have apologized maybe we would...
Read moreHara was our server and she made every effort to make this dining experience very good. It was me and my friend's first time and we really enjoyed it.
Whats interesting is that we always drive by this place and yet never got to eat here, so we finally had the opportunity to have dinner here.
They have a very good mix of entrees, sushi, sashimi and appetizers. Their no rice sushi selection was very good as well and it doesnt give you the bloated feeling either. Every bite was very satisfying and you can taste everything that went into the food - its very fresh.
Any question we had about the menu or order recommendations were answered by Hara and we got our first meal just right. She also recommended us good alcohol, too.
Overall, the food and drinks were very good. There is a lot of parking, plenty of seating, good, calm environment. Would...
