Acorn Park — Attraction in Aliso Viejo

Acorn Park is an outstanding Park. I highly recommend you check it out with your kids. It has two great playground areas connected to each other, one perfect for the younger kids and another designed for 5 to 11-year-olds. There are two sets of swings, one with two big swings and two baby swings, and the other swing set just has two big kids' swings. There are plenty of great playing areas, trees with outstanding shade, and shade over the playground areas. It's a really fun park for kids to be able to play. There's also a huge grass field connected to the park that's perfect for an ad hoc game of soccer, tag, or ultimate Frisbee. There's not a ton of parking that's designated for the park. However, there's plenty of parking on the street and in the school parking lot that the park is connected to. There's one toilet there, and it's a pit toilet. It does not have a sink so you'll want to bring hand sanitizer or wipes. There are some nice picnic tables next to the playground that are perfect for a birthday party. Could easily be 5 stars if they cleaned it up a bit and made it less creeper friendly, its surrounded by hills and overgrown brush, small hills make it hard to see far when you're actually on the playground. My kid slipped in the random drainage pit which is surrounded by fake jumping rocks, 10 feet from the infant park, thats kind of annoying. It doesn't make any sense, The playgrounds are perfect, there is no need to update those anytime soon, just a good routine...

Excellent park for the kids! This park has several unique playgrounds, each designed for different age groups. The playground areas are filled with sand and the rest is grass and the cement walking path. There’s plenty of shade, benches, lunch tables and water fountains.
