Fresh Donuts — Restaurant in Allen

Update: Today I stopped by to get donuts for the team and a cronut for myself. The woman who helped me gave me a square cronut instead of a round one and stated that it was the same thing without a hole in the middle. The edges were not quite as crispy, but the center was only brown on the outside and completely raw in the center. I called the store within 10 minutes of leaving to let them know so they could pull any other square cronuts that hadn't sold yet. The man that I spoke with did not believe me and was not apologetic stating that they always cook the cronuts thoroughly - though he did offer me a free donut at my next visit (which I wasn't asking for...I just wanted to make sure no one got sick). I will visit again because this has been my only negative experience so far, but the employee's response was very disappointing this morning, and I would advise you to steer clear of the square cronuts. - 3 stars

Previous review: I bring donuts to my team at work at least once every 2 weeks from here. My team tells me that these are the best donuts! The staff is very helpful, kind and move quickly...

This has been one of the best donut places I've eaten from in a while.

Parking was super simple. I doubt there will be a problem parking here. The pavement is well maintained.

The place was clean and inviting. The man behind the counter was friendly and helpful.

The variety is about what you'd expect but the one thing I really liked that I hadn't seen before was the mini apple fritters. They were a perfect size (2 bites), but had all of the flavor and feel of a full size fritter. All of the donuts we got were good though. Even later that day they still held up well.

The location may be a little out of the way but well worth the trip if you want...

I understand this post may not change anything about their business but still bad customer service is not acceptable. When I ready to paid and somehow all 3 of my credit cards declined by the machine. Asked the owner (old Asian gentleman) to use other machine but he refused. Saying it’s my card issues. Called husband from the house to donut shop so he can pay with “my credit card” on the other machine. No apology from the shop owner for their own mistake or anything. 10 minutes donuts run into 40 minutes…they have lost a loyal customer been there since...
