I have been going to Starbucks for decades. I have visited Starbucks in different states, different countries and social economic atmospheres and this was one of my worse visits. My order was simple enough; tall caramel machiatto made with whole milk and a slice of lemon loaf. 1st issue: the worker at the register rang up "Banana Nut loaf" instead of Lemon Loaf. I saw the display facing me but this was not the 1st time in a Starbucks where I saw them do this and still provide the correct item. But then he asked if I wanted it warmed up. I exclaimed "the lemon loaf I ordered" in amazement. I was thinking this since no one warms up something topped with icing. He apologized and said "right". He offered a receipt for which I refused and I awaited my order. I was provided my drink but no Lemon loaf.
2nd issue: I asked for my Lemon loaf as the barista was a different person and not the cashier that took my order. He graciously apologized and went to get the Lemon loaf; only to return and say there was no more. And offered me Banana Nut loaf. At this moment I am flabbergasted, not at the barista but towards the cashier. Why would he waste my time, money and set the expectation if there was no more. And then I felt as if he knew because he wouldn't ring it up right. That added insult to injury. I requested a refund for the lemon loaf which I promptly received from the barista.
I left the store, sat in my vehicle, opened my beverage and gave it a stir. Replaced the lid and proceeded to leave. When I finally tasted my beverage..... 3rd issue: I could taste the whole milk, the faint flavor of vanilla (likely sugar-free by the slight after taste 🥴) and a slight caramel flavoring....but what I could not taste....Espresso!!!! As a matter of fact the taste of any coffee was sparse. At the best, I could maybe taste blonde pikes place. 😡😡 The audacity to create such a substandard beverage....unacceptable!!
TO ALL WHO VISIT THIS STORE...BEWARE AND MAKE SURE. Do not let the comfy atmosphere and smiling staff fool you. They are obviously not overly concerned with providing an accurate (or even adequate) product. I mean, the lies at the register and an espresso drink with no espresso. I should've paid more attention.
I will continue to patronize Starbucks just not this location. A location that I have passed more than 40 times this year. 😤 From now on....I will keep on passing it by.

The lack of awareness of simple acts that impact customer experience falls squarely on the management & training of the employees. The staff are friendly and kind, but oblivious. I have never not waited for an especially long time for food, and no longer use the drive through as one, it simply takes entirely too long, and two, I cannot observe food prep. A gentleman in line before us was told time and time again that the items he was requesting were “out”, at 11am, on a Sunday. Unacceptable. We ordered 2 almond croissants. They only had one, so offered one butter croissant in its place. We had already paid, and the staff member didn’t offer to adjust the price or offer an additional time to make up for the lower priced option we were given. So I said that was okay. Then I realized that they had taken the one remaining almond croissant from the display case. There were flies in the display case. So told her I didn’t want them. Was offered another butter croissant I said I didn’t want any of that. No apologies, but asked for our card, but we had paid cash, so she refunded. NEVER EVER SERVE FOOD OUT OF YOUR DISPLAY CASE!! Offer acceptable substitutions when you have failed to have enough inventory on hand. Train your staff, and empower them to practice good customer service. Read moreThe staff here rocks. I mean truly and seriously. I work near this location so I'm lucky enough to not have to go too far out my way to visit this location. Even on days I don't work, I will pass two other locations to come visit this crew. They each go above and beyond in their own way to make my visit spectacular. Between asking about things I've previously spoken about or petting my pup. Love this group of people. Now, let's talk coffee. My order has become more complex the longer I've been a customer 🤣. And most of the crew has it memorized when I come in. They make the coffee super consistent, and I've noticed a couple other locations don't quite hit it as well as this one does. I can be a bit particular about the taste and if it's not consistent to the flavor I want in my head, it doesn't work lol
Anyway, this location rocks. Rudy is spectacular, and I wish I could remember the little hottie with the purple hairs name! She's so sweet..
Megan is a great manager and leader. I accidentally overheard a discussion between a subordinate employee who had made a couple mistakes during a very busy time.
