Mr. Gatti's Pizza — Restaurant in Allen

Best pizza I've had, perhaps ever!! Whenever I'm traveling, I always scope out the itinerary beforehand to see if there's a Gatti's Pizza along my route. I'd never visited this Allen location, where Beau makes the absolute finest Mr. Gatti's pizzas! And you probably know already that Gatti's pizzas are the best/beat the rest, hands down! For this visit, I had my 50th Anniversary Mr. Gatti's mug AND my Mr. Gatti's signature glass "love" cheese shaker, which I'd purchased from another location during a hardup covid stretch last year- I thought that they would sell me any fixture in the store!! Well, Beau filled me up with ice, and parmesan spice cheese, and put extra sauce on my pizza as requested. Doesn't that irritate you when your simple requests are ignored or forgotten?? Well fret not! When you pick up a Gatti's pizza from this location, it's gonna be right!!

Upon my 2nd visit in a row (on my return trip the next day), I asked Beau what it is that makes HIS Mr. Gatti's pizza the best ever...."It's right here, he said," placing his hand over his heart.

Yep, when you value your customers, and esteem quality in all you do, your product will be superior!! Oh, did I mention that classic Gatti's sauce, with perfectly crisped and delectable pepperonis hot from the oven??

I’m not sure why this place gets bad reviews. I love the pizza and eat here often. The staff here is really nice, I’ve never had any issues. My pizza is always fresh and hot when I arrive. I really like the homemade ranch. They give you Parmesan cheese and red peppers too (most other places don’t).

One time I wasn’t feeling well and they were nice enough to bring my pizza to the car and take my payment! Idk any other pizza place that would do that for me.

The place is always clean no matter the time of day. You can even see the work space from the register and it’s always tidy and clean. The only time I’ve even seen any food “out” is when they are actively making pizzas. The dining room is always clean too.

My family and I have been eating here every week for a year, even though we must drive more than 30 miles to do so. Majid greets us warmly, as though we were his only customers, and from memory he and his staff begin making our favorite pizzas. I am embarrassed by the angry review one person wrote, and can't understand someone docking two stars because the ranch dressing was not to his liking. To my knowledge, Gatti's is the only pizzeria that uses provolone cheese, which is much more expensive and desirable than the ubiquitous mozzarella, and Majid makes the delicious sauce out of fresh tomatoes on the premises. Gatti's has satisfied me for decades, and if they ever go out of business, I probably will just mark pizza...
