Read moreI’ve always liked Culver’s for its quality food and usually reliable service, but my most recent visit was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. During a single trip, my order was forgotten twice, and that kind of experience is hard to overlook.
I went through the drive-thru and placed a simple order—nothing complicated. After paying, I was asked to pull forward and wait, which I didn’t mind at first. But after about 15 minutes and seeing multiple cars come and go, I realized something was wrong. I went inside to ask about my order, and it turned out they had completely forgotten it. The staff apologized and said they would take care of it right away.
So I waited again. Another 10–15 minutes passed. Still nothing. At this point, I had been there for nearly half an hour. When I asked again, a different employee checked and discovered that somehow, my order had been overlooked a second time. Two mistakes, back-to-back, on the same order. No explanation. No urgency. Just a generic, “Sorry about that.”
I finally got my food, and while it tasted fine, the entire experience left a bad impression. There was no offer to make up for the delay—no refund, no discount, not even a free custard. For a place that usually prides itself on quality and friendliness, this visit missed the mark badly.
