McDonald's was once a go to for quick and easy but now it's just a go to for horrible service and a waste of money. I had two back to back experiences that firmly convinced me I will just need to prepare my own food for myself and my family going forward, this is no longer a viable option. Both times I contacted corporate to let them know my concerns. Zero responses received. I visited a Grand Rapids location on Michigan St for Breakfast. Order was correct. Hashbrown was burnt and cooked in dirty oil. Egg McMuffin was so stale the bottom bun split and it wasn't even warmed. Visited in Allendale location for dinner and have not had a worse experience anywhere in my life. I ordered on mobile app. Provided code at drive thru. Pulled up to cash window and cashier couldn't find my receipt but told me it's fine pull ahead. Employee at food delivery window waited for some time then opened the window to ask me what my order is, I told them. Window closed. Window opened again and re-asked what my order is. Re-state my order ($5 McChicken meal, $5 mcdouble meal, 20 piece nugget) and pull it up in the app to show them. They don't look. Close the window look again at order screen. Opens window so you had a twenty piece and three small fries right the employee says. I again say no and begin to re-state my order. A different employee hands the employee at the window a bag of food and the employee hands it to me and tells me I'm all set. I protest they didn't even know what my order was is this correct, they certify yes. I ask them if my sauce was in the bag, they certify yes. No one looked. No one checked. No one even knew what my order was and they decided the best way to deal with this is just give me a bag of food and get me to leave. Five times I tried to do their job and help them get my order right by working with them to figure it out. I was nice and patient. Shocker the order was wrong. I stopped being nice and patient so I left because I was out of time and no longer kind. My family went without food that night cuz I was out of time to both deal with this blatant disregard for service or do something else instead to replace the food we couldn't eat cuz plain mcdoubles with burnt meat chunks falling off the bun are gross and the bag they gave me was full of them. Mistakes I understand. Blatant lack of care and concern is a problem. No one will reply to my frequent contact attempts in the app so it's time to start the conversation. Read moreYesterday was the worst experience of my life. I waited in line for 45 minutes. I witnessed a person who waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes only to get her order wrong. It took her another 45 minutes to wait inside to get her money back since they wouldn't make breakfast anymore. I also watched a girl have to come back in FOUR times because they couldn't get her order right. They were not giving out trays for orders to eat in so I had to help and elder man get his order to the table for he and his wife. The employees were stressed, rude, and the drive thru gal was unprofessionally yelling at fellow workers right in front of all the customers. The drive thru was backed up all the way to the road which is a huge safety hazard. Do you want me to go on? Needless to say, this location does NOT have a very good reputation after at least a month...

My sister ordered a large fry which came in a huge bag with about ten napkins on top of it. I think it was to hid the fact that the container was half full of droopy fries! 🙀🍟 I ordered a coke with no ice. It came out filled with Ice and I nicely asked for a do over. They were PO'ed!! Dumping it quickly with coke splashing all over! When she tried to hand it back, I asked her to please wipe all the dripping coke off the cup and she tossed it in the trash!! 😳😲🤯 I think she needed a time out! Away from customers.
