I was desperately craving sushi. I had not been to a restaurant for months so i wanted to treat myself. I found Maza and went into order. Never having been there and not knowing what to expect…i wish all testaurants and people were as nice as Maza’s employees. They helped me find rolls that were gluten free, they showed me all the ingredients they planned on using to confirm they were gluten free. I asked for two rolls to go, one salmon and one tuna, for a friend. When the two rolls came out both the chef and the cashier reminded me i stated salmon and tuna, both rolls to go came out with salmon on top and they offered to switch the salmon on top of one of the rolls to tuna at no extra charge, when i went to pay i noticed a cash jar for tips, i apologized for not having cash to tip and the cashier sincerely said dont worry about it. If you are sick of dealing with entitled restaurant employees who demand tips just for looking at them, then this is the place for you. The sushi was as fresh and delicious as the employees were sweet and kind and respectful. Thank you HaShem...
Read moreOrdered pick up and was told 25 minutes for order to be ready. Order was not ready until 60 minutes after it was placed, and they didn't even apologize. And they forgot to make a sandwich as part of the order. (We decided to just get a refund for it and move on.) We were waiting with hungry kids and the delay was actually delaying our journey home as we are not from the area. The Mazza platter was delicious, but the staff commented to each other about how I ordered too much food for our family and motioned that I am crazy. (Very judgemental considering that they have no idea what our situation is and that we are paying a lot of money for this food.) We generally felt unwelcome in the restaurant. The taco salad had very little lettuce and way too much rice. "Balsamic vinaigrette" was just plain balsamic vinegar. The Israeli salad was mostly Bell peppers and didn't taste like any Israeli salad my family has ever eaten (not in a good way). Probably won't ever return here. Unless I order a Mazza platter for delivery next time we are...
Read moreSevere disappointment here. I found these guys on Uber Eats (called "Wings and More" but with the same address as Mazza & More so can only assume they're one in the same). I ordered a 6 piece mild buffalo and 6 piece garlic mayo wing platter along with Cajun fries. The fries were fine but the wings, oh my goodness... worst ones I've ever had! Hardly any meat on the bone, all of them are in the V-shape (like a wing) so you can't eat it with one hand and when you do manage to pry it apart, you bite into either tendon or unsavory meat. The buffalo sauce flavor is mediocre at best and the garlic mayo nearly inedible. I gave it a reluctant 3-wing chance for each flavor before throwing the rest in the garbage. I'd rather eat wings from Domino's and that should give you an idea of how low the bar...
