I discovered this beach quite by accident. I was originally headed to Asbury Park, however, since it was so crowded that day, I headed North on Ocean Ave and ran I to a small residential area which I decided to park on Euclid Avenue. I finally found a place 4 blocks up and my lady friend and I walked straight down and it took us to the gate Of Loch Arbour Beach. We got our day passes and entered. What a lovely surprise. It was not crowded and the beach was very nice. The water had a strong riptide that day, but we both enjoyed it immensely. The Asbury Park boardwalk was just a short ways down the street and we were able to go for a walk down there.. I would come back to Loch Arbour in a heart beat. Again, what a pleasant surprise...
Read moreWe randomly ended up here because we were trying to see the rise of a super moon. Since it was the first public beach access after Deal it's where we went for the occasion. We went on the beach around sunset and noticed lots of different dogs with their owners. I was told they allow dogs on the Beach a couple hours around sunrise, then again around sunset.
