La Poblanita Deli — Restaurant in Allentown

Small, family owned business restaurant/ bodega type of setting. I have been in so many Mexican restaurants in Allentown and Bethlehem and this one stands out. I ordered Carnitas and chorizo tacos, and chicken flautas with a side lf Guacamole. The meat was well cooked, with a delicious taste while the tacos had the right amount of meat, fresh cilantro and onion also their green sauce was absolutely tatsty and medium hot. Their Flautas were fresh, crunchy but soft at the same time, full of chicken topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, avocados and white sauce. I’ve been coming to this corner store/deli for a few years now. The restaurant part is the best. They have amazing cooks. The food is always fresh, they make it when you order it. Also the wait time is not long at all. I usually Call ahead 10 minutes before picking up. They do have a small area for you to sit & eat but that section has been closed since Covid started. We had take out last night, went there based on reviews. No eat in dining due to the pandemic. They do take credit cards, however! The food was fantastic! We had burritos, I had the beef steak and my husband the carnitas. With a side of guac and chips of course.
