I don't actually know anything about the venue it's self, but I did order food through doordash. And let me tell you....IT WAS PHENOMENAL!! The only thing better than the food itself was the price! I definitely would pay more for food like this but because its so cheap and delicious I WILL be ordering from here atleast once a week. ITS WORTH IT AT THIS PRICE! The chicken was lightly battered but crispy and unbelievably juicy, the cornbread was somehow extremely buttery and honey flavored without any syrup on the top, the fried corn was fresh and creamy, the collard greens were very tender but not wilted and very meaty, and dont even get me started on the pinto beans that were also flavored with whole fresh meat chunks!! I looked on DoorDash and seen it and it was listed under comfort food and the first thing that came to mind was soul food. I have never been to this place but I read a comment on Reddit about how this place handled, a bartender being informed that someone's drink was drugged, someone went on stage and told all the ladies to stop what they were drinking and they gave them all new drinks.
