the staff are so incredibly sweet, in fact theyre probably the only reason im giving 3 stars instead of 2. we are from about an hour and a half away and saw they had crablegs for dinner and i was sold. so we go in, everyone is amazing and sweet and we were waited on extremely fast and consistently the whole time. we had our 6 month old with us and one of the staff members was making her laugh and talking to her and it was a wonderful interaction. however, the food😬 the reviews were mostly good so we said go for it, but im genuinely surprised theyve only received a few bad reviews about the food. the crab leg shells were soft, and broken, there were barely any full legs, and no crackers were offered/on the buffet counter (that i saw), but i think its just being under a warmer because the meat was good. the sushi tasted phenomenal, and the regular westernized chinese food was cooked well and tasty. but we got a passion fruit juice drink (delicious btw, dont skip this if you go) and within 20 minutes, halfway through drinking it a bug ended up in it, and there were SO many flies buzzing around me. the fortune cookies (not important for the meal just wanted to mention) are definitely homemade and so cute but the fortune was ripped in half and only one half was there lol and they dont break? they just bend so im assuming undercooked or at too low a temp or something. they didnt tell us anything about the passion fruit drink, thank god i read reviews or i wouldntve known to just grab it out of the cooler or that it was included. the fried scallops were SOOO rubbery and the breading coating the scallops is so tough to bite through and has so much resistance, also rubbery. nobody was at the hibachi grill so we didnt get any of it because we didnt know where the chef was (didnt see him the whole time) and we were never told to do xyz if you wanted that option (the raw food was set up so it was open). the beef/steak meat was extremely chewy, my husband took one bite and politely pushed it to the side of his plate, and that man is a garbage disposal normally. i wouldnt go again except for the all you can eat crab legs and sushi for $18 a person, which is a great deal. extremely minimal selection as well, probably one of the smallest buffets ive been to. the dragonfruit was cool to see because ive never seen dragonfruit at a buffet, was decently warm which threw me off but it tasted fine. case in point: great sushi, mediocre tiny crab legs and broken legs, and delicious passion...
Read moreSo I have two small kids I go to the restaurant and have you know grab all the plates that I want at the same time because that my kids you know like to run around so I didn't want to have to keep on going up and back and forth to the bars to get food well I sit down with all my food and the manager comes over and says I better eat all this food which is like I wanted to try something new that I've never tried before. I don't feel like I should be forced to be to eat any of this food if I don't like it I don't like it but I'm allowed to try it and I feel like I was told by my mom that I need to eat all my food I'm a 41 year old Mom myself out of restaurant that's a buffet so I am extremely upset by this and I don't recommend this restaurant. I have to ask for my hot tea that I had ordered cuz they never gave it to me and ask for refills on sodas you know I watched other tables the serve refills and everything else but because I spoke up against being told to eat all my food I was punished by not being promptly served so again don't recommend...
Read moreFirst time going here. Our car recently went on us and I had a really bad headache after work so my daughter begged to come here bc they had seafood judging by the name…. The service was great but the food tasted old and there was something on my child’s Mac and cheese… I thought it was mold to be honest. I was already in pain and just wanted to leave at that point. I took two bites of calamari and two pieces of “sushi” and my daughter only ate oranges and one or two crab legs. Seriously though, the staff were super nice and attentive. I did bring the thing about the Mac and cheese to someone’s attention just in case. I simply didn’t want anyone to get sick. Immediately they gave me a discount and offered me some fresh juice which honestly would have been great if I wasn’t in so much discomfort. Nothing tasted fresh at all. That’s truly my only complaint honestly & the price for adult dinner was over priced per quality...
