Walked into The Market Grill like I was about to meet destiny… instead, destiny served me a cheesesteak that whispered, “I’m okay, but don’t call me again.” The meat? Felt like it was raised on a steady diet of clearance stickers. The bread though? OH BABY. That sesame seed bread was bouncing like a mattress in a cartoon fight scene. Spongy, fresh, fluffy—if bread could win awards, this loaf would be up there giving an acceptance speech.

Now, I’m not saying this cheesesteak cracked my top five, but it might have cracked my top five “would eat while hiding in the pantry at 2AM” list. Respectable, but not legendary. I got my eyes on those cheeseburgers next time… they were giving me the “pick me” eyes from across the counter.

BUT HOLD UP—the real MVP? The strawberries. My guy, these weren’t just strawberries. These were juicy little flavor bombs straight from the Garden of Eden, dipped in chocolate so smooth it probably had a jazz playlist playing in the background. One bite and I ascended briefly. I was about to Venmo the chef a love letter.

So yeah, Market Grill—you didn’t sweep me off my feet, but you did sneakily hold my hand under the table....

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and affordable. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, something I’ve had plenty of times at other places but this one stood out. I’m not sure what they did differently, but it had a unique flavor in good way.

The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. You could tell the team genuinely enjoyed working together.

What really set this spot apart was the seating area. It was clean, bright, and tucked away enough to feel private. Unlike other stores at this same location, where you feel like you’re sitting in the middle of the walkway, this place offered a much more comfortable...

First time there. There was an obvious new person working the register and she wasn't sure what came with my order. She was totally nice btw. The manager guy on the other hand was not. Not rude, but certainly unwelcoming & had a demeanor that constitutes this negative review. Just not the kind of interaction that makes me want to go back, even though the burger was good. If you end up reading this dude, get another gig, bc you're not happy at this one. I spend G's in the FM every year, but not a cent is coming your way. Grow up. From the...

Parking is very easy and FREE since it is located at the Allentown Fair Grounds. This place is a hidden gem!!! Portions are large and food is amazing!! Ingredients and presentation are top quality .I consider myself a big eater and I could only finish half a sandwich. As a bonus, you can shop the other vendors at the Fairgrounds. You will not be disappointed. You can not beat the customer service. Check the restaurant hours because they are not open 7 days a week.
