While the space is beautiful and the decorator does amazing work the planning in regards to booking is awful. I had been communicating interest in a date and space for some time. When I was ready to book I reached out inquiring of the availability of the date I wanted. It was still available but they told me to come in the following week. I proceeded to tell them the available days that I could come in to book on the following week and received no response. I waited to reach out again due to it being a holiday weekend. When I reached out, they told me my date were no longer available. I respectfully voiced how upsetting and unorganized this experienced had been and the coordinator proceeded to act confused and then rather than addressing the issue responded with "god bless . enjoy your day" I wasn't expecting much but at least some professionalism. Very upsetting because the space is beautiful and the decorator appears to be very good.

Read moreTo best describe the space we were shown AND making a scheduled trip from another state. I saw the House of Events as gloomy, drab, and unkempt. We were warned about the elevator when we walked in the lobby! I was interested in the smaller room not the Penthouse. Our party was for 15-20 people. The Drop ceiling looked like something would drop out of it and water stains were everywhere! I was told directly if I spent more money I would be treated better. Its was also explained to us he does not clean up ( obvious) after the last rental and if he did clean we would be charged for it! I was prepared to spend up to 950.00 for a small room for Appx. 6 hours. I planned to decorate with MY team. The baseboards were horrific. Tooth picks on the floor! No refrigerator and the wood round tables looked like they might give my guests splinters! I would expect a business to present itself in the best possible light but, this space was just Vulgar. This is not an event room it's a dirty locker room with no windows! Ernesto was apathetic so we matched his energy and went elsewhere; you should too! Don't go by the pictures posted folks.
