Wawa — Restaurant in Allentown

As I previously stated in one of my reviews, I Love this location. I’ve been to this location at different times which means I’ve encountered workers from different shifts. Well, I work nights now and I met a woman named Tiffany who works the evening/night shift. Tiffany has raised the bar for some of their employees. Her professionalism and overall courtesy has superseded my expectations. Tiffany knows my order and nails it every time. I’ve also walked in and would see her handling one task and quickly start to help her co-workers out when she sees maybe too many people waiting on orders or the check out line is getting too long. Tiffany will ask customers “how was your day or how was work.” Those are the little things that mean a lot to me. I’ve written reviews about different locations and no matter what business it is, if service or attitudes are terrible I am going to write about it so when service and attitudes are exceptional I feel the need to write about that as well. I normally come in different times of the day because I work night shift when I do come in I get coffees breakfast sandwiches or order Lattes or hamburgers double cheeseburgers pork sandwiches and meatballs I get chips I get candy I get hot dogs I spend a lot of money there I also get ice quite a few cup size all of a sudden we are being charged for the cup size for a full drink which is ridiculous if you were charging for the cup 75cents or a dollar I would be more understanding. If I wasn't purchasing anything else I could understand that but it's not the case. So no longer will I buy anything else just my ice because I'm anemic and my daughter is pregnant. We come in multiple times a week and spend anywhere from $7-25 no more cause we have to pay this ridiculous surcharge on ice and please don't say buy a bag of ice. We all your bags of ice are crummy. I really love the employees that work here so it’s difficult to leave a bad review but hopefully it could help change something. I go to this location often bc it’s the closest one to my house to get a coffee before work and I’m tempted to go to the one off airport road. This locations coffee is always so watered down that I have to ask for a shot of espresso some days. I’m noticing it more and more lately. If the goal here is to save the company money, you’re still wasting coffee grounds bc you have to make coffee regardless. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way bc it’s a Friday morning at 9am and I was maybe only one of 3 customers in this location and the one dude kept dumping out their coffee and switching to a different pot.
