Woody's Towne Café — Restaurant in Allentown

Nasty old white man harrassing my girlfriend and I because he wanted to move his car across the street. We tried to ignore him, but he followed us in Woody's, saying we don't speak English. So we're in Woody's waiting for a table when he comes in behind wanting an explanation why we parked our car across the street. Him standing between us and the exit door, I felt trapped and had to scream at the man. I don't care what his problem is. We can park where we did. He called me stupid, went outside the front door, sat down, and ate his breakfast. The waitress recognized the escalating situation and promptly sat us down far away from the nasty man. We left her a big tip because she deserved it. Every other staff member could care less supporvisor sitting at counter with his laptop just ignored the situation. This place is unorganized. Horrible experience I would not recommend if you are...

Small place. When we walked in there was no greeter to meet us at the door. There were many unoccupied dirty tables and one girl in yellow who walked past us many times cleaning them slowly and didn't seem to be enjoying her job. After about 15mins we were finally instructed by a server who walked past us to go outside, to sit anywhere we would like. What I would only assume was the manager or owner and older blonde lady just behind the counter showing one guy something on her phone. Wasn't very professional. The server we had on the other hand was extremely nice and very attentive. Food was right and came out fast. I cannot stress enough the server is why we will be coming back. My daughter loved her waffle. And the cute small old town vibe is exactly what I was looking for on a quiet Sunday....

We had been to Woody's often for breakfast and lunch but just learned that they offer dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. What a great place to eat dinner on a Friday night! The service was great, our server was so friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is quiet and homey. They had a dinner special, order two entrees and one appetizer and get a free dessert. Our appetizer was chicken wings, they were crispy and perfectly cooked and served with blue cheese dressing and celery. We had a yummy burger and an Italian flat bread - delicious! Then to end a great meal we had the bananas Foster, made with vanilla ice cream, banana, raspberry sauce and whipped cream. It was soooo good, and was the perfect shareable portion. We will certainly be back to dinner...
