Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Alliance

I don’t like giving negative reviews but I have to be honest about this place. I ordered the three meat, steak *2 and 1 chicken and got the exact opposite. Also there is no way for you to determine how you want your steak cooked when you order online, so expect well-done and chewy. The food tastes like it’s been cooked with seafood which I am not a fan of. The dumplings and sauce that came with them were very good, hence the 2 stars. But my biggest issue was the “ginger sauce”… I’m not sure what Hibachi restaurant they base their food/sauce on, but it’s no where local I have eaten. This sauce is ORANGE and it had a horrible taste, almost spoiled. It tasted nothing like ginger. The places we eat at in canton have a brown ginger dressing to dip food in and an orange dressing on their salad which tastes delicious. I have seen mixed reviews here. I will say this was my first and only time going here. The lady at the front was very nice. The food was not nice. The steak had a weird texture to it, sorta like salisbury steak a little. The chicken also had a weird texture. The noodles were hard in some spots like they sat out for a bit. The rice and noodles really had no flavor. It wasnt an enjoyable meal unfortunately. Im also not a sauce person but i didnt care for the sauce they put on the food. This place is amazing, The sushi is Fresh and i mean FRESH, I had the Tuna avocado roll, the spicy salmon roll and a regular salmon roll. the rolls are huge, nothing but big pieces of fish, probably the most fish in a roll i have ever seen. Hibachi Express you need to expand the sushi menu so we all can enjoy sashimi and nigiri ! Currently they only offer sushi rolls and poke' bowls. Hands down some of the freshest sushi i have ever had in Ohio, and the prices are kick a**, my three rolls cost me 13 dollars. I will be back.
