Food is perfect almost every time but the service is EXTREMELY lacking - which ruins the experience all together. I don't understand the point of having a counter cashier if they never take your order anyways or make you wait 20 minutes first. We come here almost every day and it's always the same - especially at night. They completely ignore customers that come inside & that's crap because not everyone has a vehicle to go in drive-thru (or in our case - a vehicle that works properly). Last night he told me he could take care of me if I went in the drive thru otherwise I'd have to wait because it was only him. Kiosks were shut down. After going thru the drive thru, he continued to be rude. When I asked him if they needed more night staff (I was interested in possibly working here), he said "no - we just don't have enough business the first 2 months of the year to have more staff on." If that's true, it's quite unfortunate that a billion dollar business like McDonald's cannot put one extra worker on duty to give their paying customers the service they deserve. I was very disappointed. I treated him with the upmost respect but he continued to be rude & make snide remarks. I really hope this location addresses this issue because a customer shouldn't have to wait 20+ mins at McDonald's just to have an employee acknowledge them. *I would like to mention though that during Lunch time, I am almost always treated with respect & have my order taken in an appropriate amount of time. We ordered sandwiches and drove to pay window. A heavy set man opened the window. He didnt greet us, his glare was intimidating. We felt uncomfortable. We paid. The male worker stared directly at my daughter. She was was truly INTIMIDATED. The employee didnt engage in thanking us or saying anything kind. It was a scary feeling!! We moved to the pick up window. My daughter asked the female employee to speak to the MGR. My daughter tried to explain what just occurred. The employee stated, Oh thats just how he is, hes just like that. My daughter insisted that she needed to talk to the Mgr. The Mgr. came to the pick up window. She visibly had a WALL built up. My daughter reported what occurred. She too made excuses for the MALE. She spoke word for word what the young female stated and added, WE RESPECT THAT HES JUST THAT WAY. I told her, thats NOT good customer service or professional. The female manager began to ARGUE with my daughter. I informed the Manager (NO NAME TAG ON) that the male employee should be retrained or assigned a different position w/in the restaurant. Read moreI was in a tremendous hurry to grab and go so I could eat and get to a class. I had shopped somewhere I had never been before so I found this McDonalds relatively close by. I went to the drive through and ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal and diet Coke. They took my order, repeating it to me. They said "large" for the soda and I just did yes. I got a HUGE soda, which I guess I must have paid for.
