Artifex Coffee — Restaurant in Alpharetta

We tried three coffees and liked them all.

Cooper: I was prejudiced. I thought a light coffee was always somewhat flavorless, but this one definitely had flavor. It’s perfect for a time when you don’t really want the intense experience of a dark roast. Just good coffee without it screaming COFFEE! My wife experienced it as iced coffee and she said, “Delicious!” She didn’t think it was “less than” in any way—just delicious.

Blacksmith: The next morning I felt confident we could replace our usual dark roast with Blacksmith. No disappointment. It tasted VERY similar to me. Strong with lots of flavor.

Luminary: This morning I thought, surely we wouldn’t like ANOTHER light coffee. We just lucked out on the Cooper, right? WRONG! On one hand, it’s not strong, but wow, the flavor! A LOT OF GOOD FLAVOR. My wife thought it was fantastic.

I have been an avid coffee drinker for a while now and my favorite has always been cold brew. Most places get it wrong, it steeped too long or the coffee used is average, artifex’s cold brew is by far the BEST COLD BREW I HAVE EVER HAD! I have them every Saturday at the farmers market IN ALPHARETTA and it’s the highlight of my trip (get it with coconut and chocolate syrup with half n half you’ll thank me) I have tried all of their beans and it’s all great, foundation and cooper are my favorite blends.
