It's hard to tell if this is the correct one but this review is for the Starbucks on the right side if you're driving towards I4 from Sanford. I just came back from this Starbucks and it was the worst experience I've had. I ordered a matcha green tea iced coffee, something I get on the regular from many Starbucks locations including this one on different occasions. The girl handed me this muddy brown iced coffee with this little bit of matcha powder at the bottom. I immediately tell her it's wrong since I know exactly what the drink should look like. Instead of offering to make it again she argues about the color being do to all the matcha they put in it....like this drink was just dark green instead of BROWN. So I go back and forth with her for a while, even though I only had 15 mins for my break, and it was like she didn't have the slightest idea of how the drink was supposed to be made. She tells me to try it and against my better judgement I did. VILE. Absolutely terrible. I would never imagine anyone buying that drink, whatever it was, purposely. So, I just ask her to make a different drink all together. A frappeccinco and instead of just making it she tells me she would have to refund me the money for the first drink and up charge me for the new one. I decided I already wasted too much time going back and forth with this girl so I just asked for a refund and left. I only gave two stars because I've never had a bad experience at this Starbucks before and I was genuinely surprised she was giving me such a hard time. I didn't get a look at her name tag but she had brown hair and was maybe hispanic. She may need a lesson on the matcha green tea drinks because she was actually asking me to describe how it was made....but I'm not the one who...
Read moreI was visiting from Boston and went to my nearest Starbucks by my parents in Longwood/Lake Mary. I’ve been going to this Starbucks since I lived in this area since 2017.
My mother and I ordered two bacon, sausage and egg wraps and we sat in the parking lot to eat.
During this we noticed the burritos weren’t heated up properly, the middle portion still felt as if it were from out of the freezer. We went in to explain the situation and were helped by staff immediately, everything seemed great and “Starbucks” about the situation with customer service.
We were happy to be getting the help we needed but then we noticed an employee who was not happy to be there. Unfortunately they were also the one handling our food. When she overheard our issue with our order she rolled her eyes and turned around, then she grabbed the wraps individually and literally tossed them in the oven by using tongs.
Before she came back to pull them out she used the broom and dust pan (to the right of the oven) and didn’t wash her hands and went immediately to touching the equipment (tongs, oven door) put our food out and called to her colleague and said “who ever this belongs to can you give it to them!”
I won’t be going back to this Starbucks and I really hope she doesn’t handle anyone else’s food. It’s unacceptable to be in a business that is customer facing with attitude. There is never a reason to treat customers or fellow employees like this. I hope this situation...
