Scan Design — Local services in Altamonte Springs

I will never shop here again. I custom ordered a three piece coffee table after visiting the store in Altamonte Springs three times. I viewed all the sample tables while I was in the store to be sure it was the right one for me. However, the table top piece I received after waiting almost 8 months looked NOTHING like what I ordered! The samples in the store had marbling color throughout the top of the table but the one I received was almost completely blank on 3/4 of the top with hardly any color. It was virtually plain and not at all what I was expecting based on the samples displayed in the store. I complained to the delivery guys and immediately called the store manager. Mr. Bailey was 100% useless and totally unsympathetic. He did not care about my disappointment or dissatisfaction at all. He said it was a custom order and he would do nothing to replace the top piece. It is important to note that I did not ask for all three pieces of the table or the base to be replaced, only the top piece, which is the one that is visible all the time. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE IN THIS STORE. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS CLUELESS AND THEY DON’T DESERVE...

What an amazing experience! Evelyn, our designer, walked us through the store, asking questions to help us design the perfect dinning room and living room in our newly remodled home. She was extremely courteous and professional. We did our virtual walk through of the space taking measurements and different angles to assure the items we were looking at would work. Evelyn sent us a comprehensive proposal from where to start fine tuning our selection to come up with the perfect design. We were able to select, purchase and have first class delivery within a very short time. The delivery was also exceptional, caring for each piece and explaining how we should handle any adjustments/moves in the future. Overall, I can not express what a pleasure this experience has been. Pros: The furniture is really cool. There is something for every room in the house. It's modern, funky, contemporary, even edgy. Fits our style perfectly.

Cons: They said they would call when our furniture came in. They didn't. When we called, they said the furniture had already been picked up. It hadn't. They finally located it in the warehouse, and told us to come the next day. Then when we showed up, they said the furniture had already been picked up (again). It still hadn't. They looked around and re-located it in the warehouse. The sales person said they should have told me you were coming. Well, not our problem.

In all, I'll only go back if it is the only place that I can find a piece that is really cool, but from a customer service standpoint, I felt it left a lot...
