Jack's Pizza Alton — Restaurant in Alton

Pretty disappointed, I have been coming here for years now. Always enjoyed the the pizza. Tonight we drove to Alton to pick up a pizza we ordered. Get home to find that the pizza was burnt(overcooked). I called back to let them know and was very quickly told I was wrong. "The pizza was a little on the brown side but that it wasn't burned" She was aware of the condition the pizza but she let it go. She obviously knew there was something wrong or that there was a possibility that the customer might have an issue because she knew exactly what pizza I was referring to. I was very annoyed at her initial defensive tone and insisting I was wrong. If I'm going to pay almost 15 dollars for a pizza, I would like it to be cooked to my satisfaction and not look like a frozen pizza I left in the oven too long. Ordered 2 pizzas on a Friday evening, one garlic and one bacon. I was told they were running a little behind and it would take about 45 minutes for my order to be ready. I arrived 45 minutes later and found that not only was my pizza not ready, but that there were four or five other people still waiting for their orders. I checked in and paid for my pizzas and continue to ask when they might be ready and was told they should be coming out shortly. Other people were becoming impatient and just taking whatever pizzas came up. After another 30 minutes or so and there was no one else left I asked again about my pizzas and apparently they were gone but several other pizzas had just come up so they offered me those so that I did not have to wait any longer. We loved jacks, and order from them often. However after last night, I will NEVER order from them again!! I called to place an order and before I could say anything i was immediately put on hold (totally fine with me) was on hold for 6 minutes and had to hang up for a second and called them back. The person who answered the phone again did not let me speak and proceeded to say " I can't take any orders until I make the orders I already have, so I guess I'm not taking your call !
