Went on college night when rum & cokes, amaretto sours, and vodka lemonades were supposed to be $2. We were getting charged different amounts every time we went up to the bar. Later in the night we asked how much a pitcher of beer was. We were told $10 and after getting the money together and going back up to the bar they then told us $12. Then the third time up to the bar they told us it would be $15. Couldn’t get their prices right on any of the drinks. The next morning a buddy we were with checked his bank statements and there was a $100 charge! He used his credit card 1 time and used cash the rest of the night! I Asked the bartender if we could call a police officer to come and confirm the I.D. was real and they asked why would I want to call a police officer to a bar? If you’re not doing anything shady, then calling a police officer to confirm a person is over 21 should not be an unreasonable ask unless you have something to be worried about. It seems that these scanner apps on their phones don’t always work and should probably be upgraded to something a little more professional. The chicken bacon ranch Flatbread was great the cheesesticks weren't bad. The atmosphere is nice. The service could have been a bit better. Neither one of the waitresses let us know that bit was just pizza and Flatbread night. It was brought to our attention after we had placed our drink order and looked over the full menu. Approached one of them about it as we left and was told it was posted at the door and on Facebook. When you are not familiar with the restaurant and not a local Alton regular how do you know.
