All Star Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Altoona

I called asking a couple questions on what deal I could get for 2 pizzas and an order of breadsticks and wings and whoever answered the phone must have been having a bad day or something because he just abruptly hung up on me! Very unprofessional. I wasn't being rude or anything.. just trying to find out the specials. I go up to the store and no one seems to know who was attempting to take my order. I really like their food and at one point in time their service, but due to the ignorance of one employee they lost out on a what was gonna be a large order...and a good customer. I'm a manager at my place of work and would never disregard someone's concerns or inquiry when attempting to do business with me or the company I work for....very disappointed customer here. Extremely surprised at the way I was treated..the customer service I received here will definitely have me looking to find a good, respectable place of business to give my money to instead of such a lack of business oriented place like "All Star" Pizza! Go figure.. All...

So on my husband's birthday we called and placed a fairly decent size order that my granddaughter and I went in my vehicle to go pick it up. When I got there no one in the restaurant greeted us with a hello, how are you, when I said what I was there to pick up they put the food down on the counter, told me a total and then added a service fee of $4.50 to that total. Which then of course I didn't give an additional tip especially since I was picking the food up. And you know what that man had the nerve to say to me...." What!? No damn tip?" Who behaves that way in front of a child?

Don't get me wrong the food was good but 1. You didn't wait on me. 2. You didn't deliver it to me and 3. You added your own service fee to my bill so why would I give you a tip! I will never go to this...

Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing, but I ordered over the phone & I asked for a pizza steak sub & other things. I Asked for the dressing on the side because we were bringing it home. Dressing wasn't even in the bag with the entire order & there were 2 subs. We repeated, dressing on the side numerous times. The dressing is fabulous & a compliment to the sub with flavor. I sent my Grandson to pick up. This happens a lot. I've got the entire wrong order before too. Whoever answers the phone & takes the order needs to get it right. I shouldn't have to check each thing when I pick it up. Very frustrating to find when your...
